(P515) Potential Hotel for USH

I wonder if they are or have considered demolishing these CityWalk shops. Would free up space, guest flow, and they could move security here into a straight line of scanners like DLR’s east security. They obviously aren’t hurting for more CityWalk space lol.

With the way that things are being set up, they are effectively making it so there are three security hub points that are required for people to get too—before being even able to step foot either next to the park or next to CityWalk.

I mentioned it on the P294 thread, but as per my understanding they want to make a bubble. And the current entrances and exits will be modified to have one way exits, forcing people to go to the new hubs.

The funny thing is, unless if I am mistaken it doesn’t look like walls are up around where the actual hotel would be, and the focus right now is on P294.

I actually wonder how long it’s gonna take till the community line is updated with the according new projects.

Maybe then it depends if your on the media list....because some Vloggers are in full force on the hotel....while others are like "shrugs...maybe a hotel is coming"

But the Press release makes sense but also....a video ago Five Fires is talking BTTF casting calls...so its why I 'm confused on what can be used as a source and not. To me a casting call is as much of a source at the hotel plans we have seen filled with the city...but thats just me

You and I alongside a few others quietly talked in DM's on it--and through watching updated videos, it seems they are painting all of the walls to be a natural "Green" esque color.

Could be possible they're using the future P294 Central Security Hub area as a "Base" for now, preparing for the eventual installation of construction walls that will go up and around that of P515, IFly, and the area around the Central Security Hub. It's a lot of wood, especially this early on. Might be wise to keep an eye on this for the next 2-3 days.

The lot close to Jurassic Parking is for the Central Security Hub. There are no walls up yet for the Hotel.

With the advent of P515 and P924's permits being uncovered by the Parkfans crew, I think it's actually time to have a dedicated thread on the subject of the P294 permits. And before we go further--major shoutout to Parkfans for the permits being uncovered and looked into as they have been.

To dive in--P294 is an extensive three-location based project, that will be redistributing and repositioning the Security Check stands to key positions, in order to effectively curate a "Universal Bubble".



The bubble, would ensure that security check stands would be located at three...

I'm curious when they are going to start construction for this new hotel.. because due to California safety codes & whatnot, this isn't something that can be built over night.

Unless they're waiting to get the security check points done first since the tram pick up/drop off will also need to be relocated

I still think they’ll start it whenever they start construction on the 3rd security hub by Frankenstein

Yeah once they begin work on the Westside Security hub, they're gonna have to regrade and redo the area surrounding that of that section in order to prevent those going from Hilton to the park to be in the midsts of a construction project of large scale.

Have to imagine the focus right now is getting the Central and Eastside Hubs done before HHN, and then going ham on the Westside during September-February ahead of Hollywood Drift's opening.
