The big thing with Square now is to release on all platforms at once. Just crazy the first trailer in four years was on a Nintendo direct.

Exactly but even though they won’t be exclusive maybe they’re going to be leaning towards Nintendo for advertising. Kingdom Hearts being here like this is absolutely insane.

Summer Games Fest was just a preview of what the rest of the Switch 2’s life will look like. With hardware prices the way they’re heading developers will want most of their games to be on as many platforms as possible so the PS6 and XBOX Helix being on the horizon won’t matter much. PS5 and XBOX Series X|S will continue to get games for years to come and moves like this will bring those games to the Switch 2 as well. This is a very good thing for everyone that already owns one or at least gets one soon.
