The latest rumor I’ve seen is that rather than releasing the Master Chief Collection multiplatform what they’re doing instead is a new remake of Halo 1. I’ve even seen that it might only be the campaign as well.

I have MCC on my Steam Deck because I was hoping to play with an old friend of mine but we never got to it yet. Thankfully I got it on sale for only $10 lol

Sony too. Neither company would want GamePass on their console when they stand to make more money from the percentage cut of an actual sale and in a way that would help Microsoft as well subsidize all the people using GamePass on Xbox and PC.

No one is going to stop them porting games and it would make money. Halo on Switch or Gears would be easy money

I guess we should’ve expected this after the news about Canada from a while ago. The OLED model has been leading in sales but if it’s brought up that close to the Switch 2 I think sales are going to tank but who knows Nintendo might actually want people to buy a Switch 2 instead. It’ll be tough for them to beat the PS2 now.

Call it cope or whatever you want to but I think that if we get a general Direct in September it’s entirely possible that big third party announcements could’ve been saved for that just because everyone knows a Direct that includes first party announcements will always attract more attention.

Bananza is pretty much tied with Galaxy for my favorite “3D Mario”. They went all out. The ending was just absolutely insane, I can’t wait to play the postgame. I can’t believe this is only the second first party release…

I doubt it would happen but I’d be tempted to buy the first game by itself if the option was available like with some other third party collections on Switch. Also the mini games from the first installment are an absolute MUST to include.

I would be straight up offended if Nintendo chose to celebrate Mario 40 with a New Super collection of all things. No way that’s legit.

The new hot rumor is that we’re getting a gauntlet of three directs: partner showcase last week, indie world thursday, proper Direct next week. I’m not sure if I buy it, but it’s significantly more likely considering they’re doing even two directs in a row, and there are tons of announcements they need to make.

I’ve started playing Minecraft again lately. The Switch version is DRASTICALLY better on Switch 2 with the infamous performance issues straight up gone. The render distance is still locked to 12 which is pretty low, and the new real time shaders are locked. I hope the dedicated Switch 2 version is announced soon.

I just bought Batman: Arkham Asylum for the first time. Already having fun in the tutorial. I’ll likely buy City too before the sale ends. I will NOT buy Knight on Switch though, that’ll be on the Steam Deck. The reason I’m getting the first two on Switch is because they’re basically straight ports of the original 7th gen versions rather than the Return to Arkham versions which not everyone likes the changes made. Plus I think it’s just nice to have and support them on Nintendo.

Edit: Just looked it up and the Steam versions are also the original but on Switch I get to play the Joker challenges so I’m still good lol.
