That would be wonderful but sadly I don’t see it happening

I really wish they had space for peanuts dark ride in the style of Mickey and Minnie’s would be so amazing especially of the ending scene could be themed to seasons

I do think Knott's should focus a bit more on family rides, Knott's needs at least just one more major coaster, weather it be a hyper or the giga. It needs that ride badly to help with capacity and to take the pressure off of Xcellerator and Ghostrider. Focusing on dark rides is just not feasible for Knott's, unfortunately.

I’m hearing that Knott’s is no longer offering physical Season Pass cards. If you received one for a 2025/2026 pass, it appears they are using whatever they have left on hand. Keep that physical card current if you want to continue using it!

Obviously, this isn’t anything new in the realm of theme parks, but just thought I’d mention it as I still use the physical card and try to avoid using their app as much as possible.

The 2025 Scary Farm add-on pass has been available on the website for some time. I think 2026 add-on is even up there as well. As far as the standalone goes, I would expect that to drop officially tonight at the event.

They have slowly been pulling back on giving out physical cards for the Scary Farm pass for the last couple years. You can ask Information for one, but if you have an add-on to your regular Season Pass they don't activate it, so it's more of souvenir than anything else. I expect those will also be gone once whatever remaining on hand stock is used.

It looks like the cubby system used on a few of the big coasters will be phased out for rental lockers starting September 8th. Strange that Xcelerator is missing from this. Also unfortunate that they aren’t implementing the same (free) system Universal uses.

From the website:
Ride Locker Rentals

Starting September 8, 2025, Ride Locker Rentals will be available for single use at GhostRider, HangTime, and Silver Bullet. These ride lockers are one size: 10”x13”x17”. Larger lockers are available for an all-day rental near Guest Services.

Lockers:

  • $3 for up to 2 hours
  • $2 for each additional hour
  • $15 for Moveable Ride Lockers – allows guests to freely move from ride to ride all day.
*Using a ride locker is not required. Guests are always welcome to leave loose articles with a non-riding member of their party; however loose articles will not be allowed to be left on the ride platform.

What happens if I bring loose articles with me into the ride stations?

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, loose articles are not permitted aboard GhostRider, Silver Bullet, and HangTime. Guests will not be permitted to proceed through the queue to the ride station or board the ride with loose articles. Storage options in the station are not available.

Sick Flags can bite me, shorts with zippered pockets will be the go. Lucky I don't drink Soda, so I'll be tossing that Haunt boofet bottle, unless it has keepsake value.

What was wrong with the old system? It was convenient for guests and insured loose articles weren’t on the ride….oh that’s ride. They’re not able to grab more money from you.

I fear this information won't reach most of the normal guests at Scary Farm (or regular day ops Knott's for that matter) until it's too late. Lanterns, refill bottles, and the like will all be an issue. I predict lots of people not wanting to pay, having nowhere to put their stuff, and getting out of line at the platforms.

Are they also building a sufficient number of lockers? Those queues get packed...

I’m sorry it’s like knotts wants to fail

The lark is cute, I just went to it but the rules suck. The mouse down the street is kicking your butt because they don’t pull crap like this

Theme parks wonder why they cant go against Disney it’s because at Disney they make you feel like a guest at other parks it’s like I’m burdened trying to do anything fun

I suppose we will know pretty soon, as they plan to have them ready in a few weeks. I feel for the employees that will have to explain this to guests day in and day out, especially on those days when the queues are long.

We'll see how long this lasts. Six Flags tried this about 10 years ago and uh, those lockers are just sitting there unused now. If guests don't play along and the notoriously short-staffed ride ops don't enforce, this will be a short-lived experiment. But, we'll see!

There's plenty. This is a pic of the ones by Silver Bullet, and Hangtime (so far) appears it'll be just as many.

I'm not sure this all the fault of SF. We visited Cedar Point as well as King's Dominion earlier this summer, and it was exactly the same system.... and they seem like they had been in place for a while. It was also very strictly enforced at both parks.

I am cautiously optimistic this will improve ops in the long rung (with a lots of growing pains in the short term). What I'm most upset about is the cost. Yes, it cost $15 for a movable locker at Cedar Point. But it felt more justified, as lots of ride require lockers (if not flat out metal detectors--we should be thankful they're not requiring that yet) there.

But the same system at Kings Dominion (and I've heard for all other CF legacy parks) cost only $5 for a moveable locker. With only three rides requiring lockers at Knott's, $15 is way, way overpriced.

Sorry, I'm not saying this is because of the nefarious influence of Six Flags. I'm saying the company that instituted this policy, Six Flags, sucks.

I will go in this weekend if I have a chance and the line isn't too long

But on Reddit you have people seeming to be fine with it, I hope its bots but man I dont get how so many can be pro corporations in this day in age, like how in any way is this making the park better? All it will do is cost people more time and or money, just like not letting people bringing in water bottles for scary farm when its 80-90 degrees just....so ridiculous to me

Haha...don't go to Orlando then. Every single park out there has a locker policy. I was wondering how long until it made it's way here.
