This is super disappointing that they don’t seem to care about putting effort into their merchandise or art. I really hope this isn’t an indication of the quality of the two new mazes

I think the houses will be ok, I think Knotts and Six Flags just don't see value in making cool Art for the haunts....I don't get it but I think the houses should be fine

That's my thing, too. Either this is AI-generated and nobody in the department took a second to say, "hey this looks crap / features racist imagery," or... it's not AI-generated, which... uh, I guess would be even worse given the content?

If they put out stuff that looks crap, it will be on the specials rack next year for $5. Not buying it sends the strongest message for lazy, sloppy merch. Though this kind of thing seems endemic in Six Flags.

Being black myself, I clocked that cartoon imagery right away, but I gave them benefit of the doubt that maybe it wasn't the intention and they accidentally got too close when typing "evil monkey" in their AI generator. Missing are thick and/or red lips that usually coincides with the imagery, but it still is very clearly inspired. I also thought maybe it was just me reading too into it. To see it blow up now confirms my initial gut reaction and Knotts should definitely 1) recall the shirts, 2) stop using AI art because stuff like this happens, and 3) hire an art team of all colors, shapes and sizes so something like it doesn't happen again.

What's cheaper Knotts, an art team or a lawsuit that could end the company? Wise up, fast.
