I hope @Frank Drackman doesn’t mind me linking his great Velocicoaster photo on to this thread. Not seen that framing / location before. Nice.

I know I have seen views like that all over the park (not for this coaster, just in general)-- so we were having dinner outside out Mythos and it just sort of caught my eye, but I did think the same thing!

I appreciate that they seem to have done a much better job with this coaster concerning park views than I thought they would’ve. Especially with it being in such a central area.

How much does the coaster running impact the Three Broomsticks patio?

That space might be my favorite in Hogsmeade

It sounds silky smooth. Outside of the general park ambience, you probably wouldn’t notice it.

Once riders are screaming on it, that’s a different story.

Maybe the masks will muffle the sound.

They were testing the fire at the entrance tonight. Looks amazing! I know there was a pic posted yesterday but it’s pretty cool in person. It does feel a little out of place by the Discovery Center but still.

Meh, the first time they lit it up they caused a fire at Popeye, that was impressive. ;)

wow can't believe the ride is this ahead of schedule compared to what was originally announced. It's a nice change of pace.

The ride was planned for Spring before COVID and JW3 were delayed, the summer opening always seemed overly conservative. I do agree it's a nice change of pace from Hagrid and VB.

Gotta say, the marketing for this coaster has been very dorky and endearing.

I wonder if “What Could Go Wrong” will be an actual line in the pre-shows

I could picture JW-era Claire and Dr. Wu being all excited about a coaster that goes through the paddock and Owen saying that line.

Prob just me over-speculating though
