“Jurassic Park” junkies rejoice!

I wonder if these were from the Cedar Fair "Dinosaurs Alive" upcharge they did in several parks?

That mock up has got me very very excited. The theming looks spot on and it slots into the park so well.

Gotcha, makes sense. So is the exterior of those show buildings going to be themed to anything? Or just white walls with some palm trees in front

They are going for the Jurassic World look. That look is very industrial (concrete, glass, metal). So what you are looking at is carefully and very realistic theming.

The back of this can be seen in the new raptor encounter.

This coaster looks absolutely fantastic. I still had some sour grapes after DD was demolished. This looks to be a great thrill addition. (And yes, I like Hagrid too)

I would really like JP theming over JW theming.

But, River Adventure’s big drop building would fit in way better in a Jurassic World land. I don’t even know if they would need to repaint it.

Sounds like this coaster and theming will be awesome. I just hope it is a smooth ride. Rollercoasters are just so much better when you are not getting beat to death!!

I guess you don't like it, that is fine, but it is for sure not cheap.
Maybe wait till the end result is there to judge it.

And screen accurate?

Even the raptor enclosure in Jurassic Park is a big concrete pen.

..I mean, it's supposed to look like that in the film, so is it really cheap?

I wouldn't be surprised to see the tower crane coming down soon. I don't think there's too much more it's needed for at this point.

This is rocketing it up. Mad to think that it could be standing there for 8 months after all of this fine construction.

There sure is a TON of rock going in. I was expecting some nice themework, but this is far and away more than I figured would would be going in.
