But they are adding Potter suites so people will flock there

Remember we don't know that they are adding Potter suites. I actually asked if anyone had heard if they were adding Potter suites. I had heard that Potter suites were coming when the original WWOHP opened, but that didn't happen. So I asked if anyone had heard if they were coming to Cabana Bay. So far no one has actually heard that they are planning Potter suites. But it does seem to be a no brainer.

^ Yeah, but are we clear these have been approved by JKR and WB? As well, even if it has been approved, has Uni decided the cost benefit after use fees is undo-able. Hotels are gravy for the corporation... regardless of themed rooms. A room with a view of the parks might just be enough to satisfy all guests who desire something special.

I'm not the biggest HP fan in the world, but I wouldn't stay on site without those Express Passes. They're just so damn useful!
Btw I looked on google images today to see the approximate space trike takes up, here's what I see... Now I'm not sure if we know what's going in the green box or not, but it looks new to me. This picture was taken by google images in 2013 so it is at the most 2 weeks old. Fairly recent.
Trike area is about the size of CJ I'd say.. Lots of space just sittin up in there!

I think Cabana Bay is nice since it will be a value hotel, a nice alternative to paying parking every visit, constant transportation, the attractions that the hotel will inevitably have, and I'm sure it won't be too much more than the average (Orlando) hotel.

Google Images, you mean google maps. Also where are you getting the 2013 image, the images over UOR are from pre 2012 or early 2012 at the latest.

The last time Google did an aerial update was January 3, 2012 (the day after Jaws closed, the construction walls are there).

but yes Trik took up a lot of room for what it was. Could fit about 3 maybe 4 transformers buildings in there.

Even without express passes I am sure that sure there will be enough perks to justify a stay for the tourists.

Since they will need transport to CityWalk, I would LOVE for the to run one of these along the median of Hollywood Way from Cabana Bay to CityWalk. And did I mention it's built by Dopplemayr:

Seriously, if every major Ski Resort on the planet running them I am sure UOR could afford one.

Are we looking at the same thing? Maybe...MAYBE one Transformers building but even that seems like a stretch when you consider the queue line and need for extra pathways to control foot traffic...not to mention it is supposed to share space with the new rumored dark ride. I think there might be a little bit of exaggeration regarding how much room is there...definitely doesn't look like enough for a roller coaster thats for sure.

no if you look on google maps the square footage of trike could fit roughly 3 of the transformer buildings.

Even if this is true...the average layout of a wooden roller coaster when you consider elements like theming, queue line, extra space for walkways to increase traffic flow, along with the new dark ride and supposed food stands, that's a tight fit.

I really love that idea and since the resort won't be expanding the waterway this would be the next best transportation solution. Because as we all know, tourists are lazy and don't need to walk while on vacation :P

The lack of space and the rumor of Gravity Group being involved is why I believe that a Splinter may be in our future. It is a really small footprint design. A lot a bang for the buck.

I wouldn't mind if something like Splinter came, it looks pretty fun.

And regarding the Gondola idea. They are going to need some sort of transport to CityWalk. Tourists ARE NOT going to walk it. And busses would be SOOO Disney. The Gondola would be what Disney would have done when Disney was amazing.

Any type of skyride, wether in just 1 of the parks, or going through both, would be total badass & I'd love it!

The majority of the mummies show building fits in there. Plus more land can be used elsewhere. The dark ride could take over trik and the coaster could co behind Thunder Falls Terrace.
