Agreed. I always felt that it would only ever work if they replanted a large portion of the land at every place they could. Hopefully after a couple of growing seasons it will fill in even more. It's a large part of what makes it feel like Jurassic world/park.

Had heard that there was an issue with some bolts in the helix area and that testing had been halted until they were retorqued or replaced. Looks like they are on it.

not sure it was bolts -- I do not know, there is something there and then another just above that they went to work on next -- I am thinking a sensor or something. I truly have no clue on any of this. Having heard someone saw two trains, I assumed something that tracks were the trains are -- well that is why I thought sensor. I'll try and crop in close on one or something.

was going to say those two bars in the track, one at the top of this crop and one where they are working--but the bolts are there as well so you might be correct ;-)

Anyways, about universal's recent tweet, do we think the front courtyard area might open soon? I can't how far along they have progressed with it, but it looks like a lot from pics I have seen!

If I were Universal, I'd heavily control access to that area once the ride opens, given COVID protocols.

I think that area is gonna act as Queue space for the rest of this year tbh, just my own prediction and thoughts though. Won’t be needed every day but might be for the summer.

At least for the foreseeable future, yes. With social distancing they’ll need all the queue space they can get. They may even overflow out to Poseidon at the beginning.

The bad news is that it's not for a few months I'm guessing. Advertising is up all over my work saying Summer 2021.

I expect soft opening for Pass Holders who can book a timeslot to come (down time possible of course). Then slowly park guests will have the possibility to book a timeslot of the same day (if the ride doesn't break down. Summer opening with televised ceremonie including actors from the movies and select guests.
Then the same protocol for Hagrids for everyone.
