I personally reckon a B&M flyer like Flying Dinosaur at USJ would fit well. Or maybe a B&M wing coaster with a similar theme, as that would even be unique to Florida!

I've heard some people say it might be an LSM Launch Coaster from Intamin, but I don't buy it myself, as Dragon Challenge's replacement is rumoured to be an Intamin LSM (albeit a more family oriented one), and they already have Hulk and to an extent Mummy as high thrill launch coaster experiences.

Out of interest, when would this likely open, if it's happening?

I was never opposed to this ride but this picture really shows you the scale of the attraction. Compared to an already tall building like JPRA, this ride is way too visible for the land. Being 35ft taller than the Hulk it would be seen from anywhere in the park, and especially hogsmeade which is a no go for me.

Is there any stipulations for the lands surrounding Hogsmeade about what can and can't be visible?

Just because it's been said it won't be over a 100 ft. tall doesn't mean it will be 99 feet tall, or even 50 feet tall. The insider comment basically only meant it wont be 101 ft' or higher in height. We really don't know the height of this yet.

I really just think that UC made the wizarding world to be a secluded and intimate experience. I don’t think they want a super tall and visible coaster right next to the land. I get DC completely terminates what I just said, but it was there before the WWoHP and they couldn’t do anything about it at the time.

Edit: I don’t think it’s an office rule but more for the immersivness of the land than anything.

We really don't know a lot of things unless I'm missing something and I'll happily take any PMs.

*Remembers how Hollywood has a Hippogriff that you can see the entire Studio City valley from it's top portion of the lift, and that, how Osaka's at certain area's looks like a costco building for FJ's showbuilding can be seen within the land*

I would assume, if they do a coaster, there will be something that correlates with the activity going on already right next to Three Broomsticks in that little portion of the Lagoon in-between Jurassic and Potter.

I think we might see a clone of that in the new park, but not Jurassic Park themed, and not here.

Disney and Universal both like to clone certain rides across their parks (namely: Tron, F&F, Transformers, Forbidden Journey and Hippogriff, etc). The coaster is very popular over in Japan, and it wouldn't be too hard to clone. Why not bring it over here, but give it another theme?

I had discounted the idea, but I just realized 2019 will be ten years since Manta opened at SeaWorld, so theoretically if they had an exclusivity clause int he contract with B&M for a flying coaster, it may expire after 10 years. This could be a B&M flyer (clone-ish) of Japan's.

I don't know what Uni's plans are but it seems like as they've been leading the way in immersive theming since WW opened, that building a big obstructive coaster in the middle of their more immersively themed park doesn't make sense. I'd imagine they'd want a ride that barely broke the tree line if it's going to have minimal themed elements. But what do I know.

It doesn’t belong in JP, but it’s still a great coaster. If only it could go in a certain... new park.

Not if they’re going all out with immersion.

Old universal vs new universal. They redid hulk yes, but I’m sure keeping the marvel license played a roll. Look at DC going bye bye for a better themed ride.
