I'm not convinced by the look of this. I'm grateful they're trying but I'm not sure.

The thing is that Universal has stressed to the public that this experience is TEMPORARY. That being so, do we think that Universal has major plans for the future of this area.

When did Universal ever say that it is temporary? Do you mean the raptors coming out by themselves without a trainer or do you mean something else?

It's easy to pick it apart from still photos, but in person it's really impressive.

Yea, they did not pay all this money for it to be temporary

No, but I think the current version may be a test that could be expanded if it is popular.

^ It certainly is an ambitious performance schedule as it is now!

Could they really make that amazing of a show with the area it's in right now?

I really hope that if anything is temporary, it's the design of the suit.

They have the motions down, but the Raptor is the star, the character and she doesn't look right at all.

That said, I'm intrigued to see what may be planned for the future of JP.

I love it. But beeing in that suite in the Florida summer must be hell. Big respect for the puppeteers in there.

The arms look so gimpy, they ruin the illusion for me. Just fixed in place with very little movement.

I'm not sure what people were expecting from a suit someone can wear. It looks very good for being a suit.

Should we not expect something great? I think of the AWIL werewolves. Yes I know their just puppets but my god. Those were amazing! Just based on photos. Looks a bit off but I'm eager to see it in person before I make full judgement.

I love how everyone who saw it this weekend on Twitter was gushing about how great it is, but the people who haven't seen it are complaining about dopey things like "The head looks a little off".:bang:

AWIL had the benefits of darkness and enclosed spaces, so of course it's easier to hide the shortcomings.

Yeah, the wolves looked derpy too with house lights and odd photography angles.

There's only so much you can do to a suit before you have to start hiding obvious strings or appendages. I'm impressed with what they came up with.

With the UTH tour I never noticed the wolves being weird looking or even the Aliens for that matter. So I guess we can't form an opinion or we should just give them a pass because it's better than nothing. Just my thoughts though.
