No. I'm sure there will be more specifics revealed as we get closer and closer to Opening Day. :)

I've just noticed you've been taking an unusual interest in the ride.... in the same way that some of us (like myself) post on the Twilight thread, despite lack of interest.

Am I supposed to have interest in the ride in order to discuss it on a forum? Not really. :)

The ride looks like its coming along. When I was there in late October it was pretty much dirt. They really work fast.

Orlando Rocks has a great photo update of The Village People playing to the New Hollywood Bowl Satge. The lighting looks very cool. This looks to a great addition to the park.

I think the roller coaster looks bad with it hovering over the facades of NYC.

Let's hope people enjoy it!

Some people are complaining about the supports and how they look over the facades of NYC, but if you look at them from in front of the Palace Theater, they look like the tops of skyscrapers.

My eyes will explode the first time I see it in the NY skyline, then I will get used to it. Kinda like the way I felt when I took this pic:

Note the show in front of the hat, if you squint hard enough.

Ouch. That one hurt bad. Worse than the first time I saw HRRR's supports.

Screamscape gave another shoutout to OU concerning yesterdays Update. And Orlando Rocks has a great update on the lift hill getting taller. Check out the first photo that shows the lift hill from a distance This thing is huge.

And here is a GREAT photo/Concept art comparison done by King K. and posted over at IOACentral.

Website is AWESOME!!! Only downside is that for now it looks like we're not getting actual music, more like generated sounds to sound like their respective genres.

I'm sure they just don't want to have to pay the fees to ASCAP or BMI for the music on the site, considering they're gonna have to pay enough for the music on the ride.

Just like Ralph said, the generic music on the site is just for the site.

Ohhh ok. Gotcha. Kinda scared me for a second there. Just thinking how I spent about an hour filling out that music survey for these crappy computerized tracks kinda aggravated me.
