Yeah, it's basically how they load a lot of the rides at Disney, with the "people mover" so the lines move faster.

Ex. Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan's Flight, etc.

No, I don't believe so... but the capacity should be high due to their "magic carpet" loading system.

I thought the Magic Carpet system was for Potter not HTR. I think HTR is going to have a duel station like Mummy.

I've only been told duel station. It just seems something odd to come to a roller coaster. It tends to be used for dark rides.

The Magic Carpet loading system has been confirmed since last Feb. when this document appeared:

magiccarpetuq6.jpg

Also, in a recent travel podcast, the 'people mover' loading system was specifically mentioned.

You can listen to the full podcast, which is about 8 long minutes of vacation planning info before the Rockit part, here:
http://www.travimp.com/promo/cm8117_universal.html

Or listen to just the Rockit part here:
http://nicksvideo.com/rockitpodcast.html

Points of interest:

- "People mover" loading system (Magic Carpet) enabling a capacity of roughly 2000 people per hour.
- Track filled with 'sand' to reduce noise.
- Lots of music options, and it'll be actual current music, not custom tracks created specifically for the ride. (And hopefully more than the 25 tracks mentioned here)

Besides that, the station has been far enough along for quite awhile now to tell it's not going to be dual load.

Thanks for all the info. So what are the chances of getting some AC/DC on the song list?

Songs that would be awesome on the ride, Ride the Lightning, Rock and Roll all Night, Bat Country, and The Electric Eye. I would love any of these songs. Does anyone actually have a list of some of the songs that are going to be on the ride?

Nothing has been confirmed, there was a survey with over 250 songs on it gauging interest in them. Which I can't to find anything on...but I remember the survey being very long.

If I remember correctly, the Ghostbusters theme, Batman theme, and several other popular movie theme songs were on that list as well...

Some of those songs would be epic. The Metallica songs could be better but they have some other great songs on there.
