So glad to have the lagoon back, the vibes just haven't been right without it. At 9 PM when every house line is an hour+ it's such an easy win to just grab a beer and watch some pretty fountains from central park.

I enjoyed the record album side A/side B framing of Ghoulish (got to see it once or twice before the hurricane killed it) so it's nice that it sounds like that's returning, should suit the retro vibes of the Mel's and Cat Lady areas nearby.

Lagoon show is back! We’ve desperately been needing another show. I was lucky enough to catch Ghoulish (in 2022) before it got wiped out by a hurricane and HHN has been lacking ever since.

Will this be another original story with some IPs mixed in?

Porting this over from the spec thread:

The more I think about it, the IPs this year have a lot of iconic music that could be used for the lagoon show. If used correctly, this could be pretty close to the 2019 MoM!

Off the top of my head:
Five Nights at Freddy's - Living Tombstones
Clown Cafe - Terrifier
Wyatt Sicks theme song
Friday the 13th themes
Countless songs from Fallout

What a insane moment it will be to hear FNAF by The Living Tombstone in a HHN lagoon show.

Wait REALLY?

2019's Marathon of Mayhem still reigns as my favorite thing I have ever done at HHN, period

Our entire group LOVED that Mayhem show (the first one) - so much that it brought tears to our eyes. Yeah, sappy af, we are. I hope this show is even half that good.

I would argue that MoM is the top show that I've ever witnessed in any theme park. They really caught lightning in a bottle with that one.

Perfect IPs, iconic music.

It will be interesting to see what they're able to do with what they have this year.

I'm likely reading too much into it but I wonder if we can expect a continuation of the art style from 2022's show given the shared name? Even though it didn't live up to 2019's (not sure if anything ever will!) I really enjoyed the art style from Ghoulish and would love to see it make a return.

I'm hoping it's as good as Ghoulish, but not expecting Marathon of Mayhem 1.0. MoM v1 had the perfect blend of IP iconography to base a show on. They haven't had a good mix of IPs for that since.

I liked Ghoulish since it was original versus reliant on IPs like Carnage Factory which made it obvious that MoM's success were the IPs.

For MoM v1, it has the distinction of several great IPs, all of which had great iconic music.

The IPs this year could fit that bill, so I'm hopeful!

So hyped! In addition to it being a fun show by itself it’s a great way to chill and get your second wind for more houses!

Awesome to see a lagoon show come back for HHN!

There was some testing going on with the fountains yesterday during operating hours which was likely in preparation for this. Visitors might catch some of it if they notice and they’re still doing daytime work.
