With the trailer of Evil Dead Burn out, that looks like it could be a serviceable house. Personally, it probably won't be high on my anticipation list since ya' kinda' know what to expect from the IP, plus the film looks to be like the latter films which have leaned more into serious horror over camp, and I prefer the absurd mix that Evil Dead II had.

As for the rumored IP's I'm anticipating that Evil Dead: Burn will be one of the gorier/scarier of the house lineups.

Mardis Gras Murders was one of my favorite rooms in SS2. Fingers crossed that it can get a house/zone treatment one day

I can understand where Zyborgs is coming from… but I don’t anticipate an Invasion house AND a Zyborg house. Those would be too narratively similar.

My exact thoughts. I feel like we'll get Invasion and then instead of Zyborg, we'll get the Bzzcon make-up house rumor we had previously.

What if the BzzCon make-up house is either “Night of The Undead Clowns” or “Blood and Chum”? Both of those films were heavily focused around the company. Maybe that’s where the “Bzzcon” rumors came from?

Can also easily connect the dots between clowns and makeup, so perhaps that’s fair spec. Then again, feels like that would be a lot of different clowns to throw out this year given the overall theme / rumored NY zone. Blood and chum I think is probably a non starter as a full house.

Not if they make the sharks half-human half-fish monster hybrids. Something that could easily happen at buzz-con. I mean look, when they made the Yeti house in 2019, it wasn’t exactly a direct adaptation of “Attack of The Swamp Yeti.” (P.S I am Still crossing my fingers for “you know what” to be part of the New York zone, and No StaticShock, “I will never surrender” until I see them, lol).

If there is it will either be Hellraiser or Sinners. I’m leaning more towards Sinners with all of the academy awards it’s won.

I think if anything it will be an original. I don’t see Hollywood announcing anything till after FFN and if it’s a shared IP it will be announced together. So I’m guessing original.

I’m the UOAP that is going to be in a conundrum by this. I always go to HHN with my brother who is not a UOAP. So, we always bought him a Scream Early so we could ride a few rides and then Stay and Scream. Well now, I as a passholder, have three options:

Option 1: Also purchase the Scream Early if I want to do the early admission houses with him.

Option 2: He could not use the biggest perk of the Scream Early pass and we do them together during the event.

Option 3: He can do them on his own during the early admission and get an advantage over me as a passholder.

So people who are in my situation will have a decision to make.

I just had a thought. If Scream Early is not going to be included in the annual pass, why not give a discount to passholders. They can get Scream Early for like $35 where general population will still get it for $75. Seems like a win/win.

Yeah, I'm in the boat that any potential announcement is more towards the end of the month at Spooky Empire. While it's never a guarantee, for the past two years they've announced a house during their panel, so going off that there's the potential for them to do it again.

Going off the 2024 and 2025 panel date announcements, if there's nothing confirmed this weekend, there might not be one this year.
