Well then, we're in for a spec season, aren't we?
With the rumor of Fortnite/Fortnitemares, that's definitely a new one. But would I be fine with it as a zone? Honestly, yeah! Yes, it's a bonkers idea. But there are characters in that series I wouldn't mind seeing brought to life (e.g., Dire), and if they can add some other Horror IP's or their own into it, overall I can see this being a fun zone. And for me I feel the fun zones generally fair better at the event, cuz' that's exactly what zones like KKfOS, Sweet Revenge, The Vamp zones, Toxic Twenties and Cat Lady on Crooked Lane have been for me.
And I get it, this is an IP that's not going to be for everyone. And that's perfectly fine, we all have our different tastes. If Fortnite is not your thing, well let's take a look at the other rumored IP's this year...

Sinners
Evil Dead Burn
Ozzy Osbourne
Stranger Things
Killer Klowns from Outer Space
Terrifier
And that's just the rumored IP's, there's also the originals which could tickle your fancy. If ya' see something you like, great! Be happy and excited for those rumors, don't let any IP that's not your thing throw you into a tizzy about the event. Personally, I'm not big on Stranger Things, but that's an insignificant blip compared to the 7-ish IP's which I am excited for!
