Terrifier in Central Park deserves some thought I contemplation I think. It’s a tighter space so the you wouldn’t need to cover a large area like Hollywood with so many victims and displays. You could really transform it to an immersive zone fitting Art, because the location works so well for a zone. However it is a bit of logjam and with Art being a people and phone magnet, it may get too hectic with swarms which would in turn destroy the intended atmosphere.

Food for thought

I couldn't even fathom how much of a bottleneck that would turn into

The dates I was at the event last year Art tended to hover around the San Francisco area. Maybe this year is Club Horror (Club Terrifier?) feat. Art the Clown where he comes out randomly to interact with the DJs, dancers, or guests? Don't have set times and keep him moving and logjams should be minimal since the crowd follows him like the Pied Piper. I have no idea how'd you flesh out Terrifier into a full-fledged zone otherwise.

This is what I was starting to think. Club Terrifier with Art as the DJ, give the dancers circus-inspired outfits, and voila.

I think you both are really on to something. The problem with Terrifier as a zone is that Art is a singular personality, and although you could have others like Vicky or the Little Pale Girl, it's basically Art's show. Putting him in San Francisco, which is always tough because it's so tight that it sometimes feels it doesn't have the room for a full scare zone, makes total sense. Plus, most people were very underwhelmed with Club Horror last year, but making it explicitly Art-related would make it much more popular, and that would help balance things and draw some crowds away from the front of the park and what presumably will be bigger IPs up there.

Not a rumor. Purely speculation. But what if they create an Art the Clown M&G similar to the Grinch? Something that can soak up a crowd of people off guest paths. Where could that go?

This past weekend David Howard Thornton was a guest at my local comic con. Someone asked him about opening the Hollywood house and closing the Orlando house last year. In his answer, he mentioned he has heard Orlando is looking to use Art again this year.. so this absolutely makes sense.

Could either of the theaters absorb the queue?

Am I remembering correctly that there’s an exit door from Bourne AFTER the “security scan” but before the preshow room?

If so, you could use the Bourne queue plus set up a temporary queue plus the M&G inside the preshow room and have people exit out that door I mentioned already.

This setup would also allow people to see Art plus give the actor an entrance exit through the theater without letting guests into the actual theater itself.

You could also setup a queue inside the HMUS lobby spilling out into the area around the HMUS, use the theater as a temporary queue space, and have the M&G take place in in the theater itself near the exit (so guests don’t have to walk down to the stage) or in the exit lobby. The issue I see with that setup is entrance/exit for Art if you do the exit lobby.

Honestly, I think if they used HMU - the backdrop of the stage itself would be a good background for a M&G photo lol

FYI - Wrist bands for Stay & Scream will return this year per a job posting. Worked fantastically well last year.
