I really don’t think a few mall escape rooms in other parts of the country will hold Netflix back from licensing stuff out to Uni/HHN.

Netflix is opening Netflix House in Las Vegas in 2027 and Netflix Bites exists at MGM already. Maybe the MGM location will close by then, but I don't think they are worried about cannibalization. The Netflix House and Halloween Horror Nights attendee Venn diagram has some overlap for hardcore fans, but I would argue that the audiences differ significantly. Stranger Things at HHN brought in a completely new fan base for the property.

To that point, if they were truly concerned about brand oversaturation, then Stranger Things wouldn't have been the biggest marketing push of all time.

An IT house would be so crazy. The fanbase is older in age than FNAF and I’d say even more passionate and crazy for the IP. Even if it’s Welcome to Derry (which is hugely popular), I can’t imagine the hype the GP would have with Pennywise on billboards. I really hope that happens. Resident Evil could be really grimy, gritty, and dirty, I like that.

IT would be a great get for the event but I feel like it's disingenuous to say it's a more popular IP. Pennywise is a big character but ST is a cultural phenomenon right now, especially with its final episodes on the way. Even at its highest I don't know if IT was ever as big a thing as ST has been.

I didn’t mention Stranger Things. I was talking about Five Nights and its passionate fan group. I know Stranger Things is a different beast.

Imagine the hype they could build if they landed IT. A random Tuesday in June before the announcement they could tie a single red balloon in a window in New York. The HHN fan base would go crazy and the general population if they noticed would recognize it. They could place them in different spots throughout the park before the announcement and on the day of put the full set somewhere visible.

I’m Glad stranger things is not apart of the lineup, I never liked that show ever. IT clears ST. And the soundtrack and sets will be amazing.

Also This year is going to be awesome, Hellraiser is going to be gory.

Still way too early to call it, but I’m glad it’s not currently rumored…not yet at least.

My bad, I swore I saw SF!

IT would be one of the most anticipated IPs to come to the event for sure. I wonder if they could work out rights to have both the 90s TV adaptation as well as the newer rebooted Pennywise in the same house for maximum marketability.

I think right here is your answer on if M3GAN will have a house.

It's amazing how much M3GAN 2 completely tanked the popularity of that property lol

With the new season out, just got me thinking... did the final scene of the Fallout house this year mean anything for a future house? (Or FFN if that comes to Orlando?). Or was this just a tie-in to advertise this new season?

Yeah, it's been mentioned in various reports/interviews the New Vegas/Deathclaw tease was at the request of the showrunners. Wouldn't look into it beyond that.

I’ve got a brave take that will probably age like milk in a few months. After seeing FNAF 2, I really do think we will likely get this over Stranger Things. I know, I know. That’s quite the take after hearing the reception of the movie. The movie was clearly made for the die-hards and not the general audiences but that’s for another thread. Right now, hear me out…

Regardless of how the movie was received, it still made bank! The fanbase for FNAF is still very loyal and you know it will sell crazy merch like last year did! It’s their own IP and they can reuse some assets from the previous house.

I really think they will wait until 2027 to do it, if they do it at all. If the people want it bad enough, they can wait until ‘27. Right now, they gotta strike the FNAF iron while it’s hot.

That property wasn’t worth the Time the sets were cool though. But the potential felt wasted, I loved the animatronics. And I’ll give them that, for the creativity.

But the movies aren’t good, I hope they go full R-Rated for Fazbear fright. Which is FNAF 3

May have missed if someone already said this, but what if bear is a double entendre, and Legacy is hinting FNAF is coming again this year?

Stephen King is heavily involved with the modern IT movies and Welcome to Derry. Never say never, but this is as close as "never coming to HHN" as it gets.

Some are starting to question the narrative of Stephen King being against his properties being featured at HHN or Horror events. There have been a number of haunt attractions based on the IT films since they released.
