This is just a better idea than having her roaming, period, doesn’t matter which location it’s at. Have a backdrop that says obsession, have a little stage people can’t get on that’s slightly raised, and have it be a place people can kinda “stand” in front of like Blumhouse’s scare zone

Nikki's outfit with the red tiger stripe top was by my impression the #1 cosplay at Midsummer Scream this weekend. In a few years the memory will probably fade, but give her a photo op in that outfit with blood splatter and a big "OBSESSION" in the background and it'll do numbers. Not exactly high art, but it doesn't need to be.

the only thing I can tell you is that because of social media and people tagging and using hashtags, I think I can see everyone knowing who she is really quickly. recognizing her immediately.

tiktok and Instagram will probably be full of clips of the character in the area and people will wanna see.

I can understand your point that the character is not that recognizable visually, but the hype and tagging will definitely show everyone online who she is
( then people will gather around her at the park and the people that don't know who she is will still Realize she's a character of the park just from other people taking pictures and video

even the people that never watched obsession will gather round to see what's happening. take pics

Honestly, I'm perfectly fine with this. The film is fine and all, but once again not everything needs to be at HHN, especially when things get awkward/icky with just even a brief context.
