I will answer any questions within reason about this year’s spec season.

I forget if you did these questions last year (I think you didn't????), so this isn't really a this year question if that's ok, but was the rumored 11th/12th house ever actually legitimate for HHN 34?

Two questions:

An Ozzy house seems like an obvious fit for the event. Was this something in the plans for a while that just didn't work out until this year? And if so, was there any concern about it being "too soon" after his passing?

Similar question about Hellraiser. As a "White Whale" of Aiello's that I believe was rumored at one point last season, was this something "saved" for an Anniversary year after the rights were acquired?

I firmly believe this is happening BECAUSE of his passing. It's a wonderful tribute to a legend. The "too soon" idea doesn't apply here.

Now I am very excited to speculate for food booths lol, and perhaps most excited to get confirmation on which houses will be on each UTH tour. I do think it is reasonable to assume based on past precedent that 6-house will be Jack & Oddfellow, EDB, Cybergoria, Sinners, Hellraiser, and either ST5 or Ozzy (probably ST5 although I do wish Ozzy would be included), and 3-house will be HR Bloodengutz, Invasion, and Madlands, but excited to get formal confirmation one way or another.

I’m thinking (and hoping) that some of the official merch available once the event starts will feature all the key art. They’re all just too good not to use for it! Would love some t-shirts with it. I personally always collect at least one coffee mug every year that I go, and would LOVE to see a mug featuring the Ozzy or Sinners key art!

Just to get it out in the open: was there ever a solid rumor of a Jack show?

Yes, very early on, but always with the Fuel Girls. I always hear specifics about shows later on in the year, which is when it was clarified this year’s theme was Vampires.

Was the Ted rumor ever really a thing or just a pipe dream?

I had personally not heard it come across my channels.

How many drinks are you owed at HHN because of all the stress everyone has caused on the forums?

Not anymore.

1. From my understanding, the wheels were in motion prior to his passing.


2. Hellraiser had tricky rights like Jason for a bit. Once they got settled, I think Universal went right after it. It just worked out that it’s an Anniversary year. But Hellraiser was never in the cards last year.

I wonder if that's been approved for actual selling or simply for promotional purposes. These estates can be finicky at times about what images they use for commercialization

Speaking of food booths - i saw they put up a Jack and Oddfellow booth this morning. And it's on the opposite side of the street than it usually is. Wonder if this could, in a weird way, confirm that the NY scare zone will have a larger footprint this year.

Was this a lucky year that Universal didn’t loose an IP? I know that Laura said the originals were already approved by spring of 2025 for this year.
