Out of the years to have a series, too... Jason, Art, Freddy would've been great Screamers.

Could they just be delayed? I remember last year we didn't hear about them until a week or 2 after opening weekend

It's possible, especially with the whole tariff situation.

That being said, they likely still would have had early production samples to include in the merch promotions. The fact that we haven't seen any Screamers themed merch (including the figures) is concerning for their existence this year.

Were Studio Screamers really THAT popular with the general public? I have to imagine if they were, they'd be back.. maybe they're just a thing that die-hards go for typically.

(not me, I hate them lol)

I fell for the same trick every year: I'd buy one or two at egregiously full price, and then they'd go on fire sale at 70-90% off at the end of the event. I buy the rest then to get the figures I actually want.

I liked the Screamers, but some of the designs were outright ugly/odd. Others were really cool.

I have a hard time judging on the popularity of ANY of the HHN merch. They were popular enough that they based a bunch of other merch on the designs (pins, lanyards, shirts, etc).

I vaguely remember not hearing about the Studio Screamers until we got closer to opening weekend last year. Not all of the merchandise were revealed before the event started, some have come out the week of the event. I do remember asking about them for two years in a row now, the tradition keeps going.

I do know there were some concerns at the beginning of last season about the Screamers coming back this year. They were popular the first 3 series but I feel the character selections from last year were not popular (there were a lot of them available still at the end of the event and they were marked down unlike previous years were they would sell out early in the event).

The Tribute Store hasn't been reveled yet either, so maybe we'll find out more as we get closer.

The Studio Screamer merch made up the bulk of the HHN merch found at the garage sale last year... so I think they realized the appeal was likely more in the fandom, not the general public lol

Yeah I mean, in complete honesty, if the Screamers were an incredibly popular item every year I don't think they'd just randomly stop having them.

Lil Boo has had merch for years and continues to have more each year.. which tells me that sells with the GP lol

Regarding the Studio Screamers - I have just a couple of these. Frankly, I preferred the smaller figures they had years ago. The Screamers are top heavy with those giant heads, but the ones from before are properly proportioned and smaller so they don't clutter as quickly. I have a bunch of the smaller, older ones sitting in a row on my desk right now. I miss these.hhn.jpg

Something worth mentioning here.
The figures shown in the merch sneak peaks (The ghoul, and Freddy) seem to be original figures made for HHN. I couldn’t find the EXACT figures anywhere being sold.

I found some for Freddy that looked similar but nothing with that exact pose, stand, etc.
Screamers were probably axed and they went back to the singular figures.

Which is my thought as well.

It’s even better if they still offer some sort of Icon representation. It just sucks that it looks like they’ll stick out like a sore thumb against the old style

I'd be really happy if they brought that Jack merch from Vegas for Icon representation.

I watched FNAF and Terrifier this weekend for the first time because I usually feel totally left out if there are IP houses for stuff I'm not super familiar with.

Let's just say... I'm fine with feeling left out if that's what I've been missing. Hopefully the houses punch above their source material

As a big fan of FNaF, I don't blame you! That movie is ... rough! haha

For anyone who isn't into FNaF already, but wants to do the "homework" for each house, I'd honestly recommend the 2014 FNaF1 Markiplier playthrough on Youtube over the film itself!

It's a silly thing to say, especially for those who weren't ever into Youtube Let's Play content from that era, but if you're willing to stick with it, that series shows off everything from the first game, and most everything that made FNaF the series as big as it is today. Mark's pretty charismatic, and that specific playthrough was ground zero for a good majority of the FNaF fandom. Besides the Afton stuff, I believe seeing that first game will give you a very solid foundation going into the house this year.

I am much more excited for the house after playing the original FNAF this summer. A house that feels like that would rule. A house that feels like the movie...less so.

Definitely not. Still early.

I suspect we may see some kind of facade even if it’s something very very light. So if there is not outside clues revealing what’s inside, we are still some time away,
Also I think it was announced already that the tribute store was opening the day before premium scream.

If Markiplier isn’t in the FNAF house we riot.

I've always liked the idea of converting the arcade into a proper (aka themed, not futuristic like the Five and Dime) Classic Monsters store for USF. If we can have a year round Christmas store, we can have a year round Halloween store (which I guess the Bootique is for IOA, but that's not safe whenever they decided to tear out IOA).

The SFX article today has some new details:
  • FNaF will be taking over one of the restaurants (presumably Louie's), so you'll be able to dine at Freddy's.

  • Confirmation that Art will be roaming the park ala Jack in 2021 (plus other characters!).

  • Besides the zombies at Mel's, there will be chainsaw hoards roaming around the park again.

  • Confirmation that next year will be treated as an anniversary year, and all 5 originals already approved.

Sounds like Art's going to have more liberties than even Jack did. Assume it has to do with Damien Leone being as chill as he can.
