Confirmation bias is always a challenge for speculation. Looking at the construction as it is, objectively in a bubble, doesn't really say anything. But thinking, "How does this fit Terrifier" it suddenly looks like a great fit. Much like when Scream was rumored for the event, the ghost and magnifying glass (clearly NOT a spyglass) or bloody film strip (because there are five frames) are CLEARLY Scream....except they weren't. But when you already have an answer in your head, it's easy to spin the question to fit that answer. Basically how conspiracy theorists live their lives.
That's not to say it doesn't end up to be 100% true...but a broken clock being right twice a day or a blind squirrel finding a nut and all those expressions.
