Outside of Fallout, that’s the most unappealing IP lineup I can remember.
And WWE… My friends and I would always joke about the 2000 WWE house in Hollywood as a sign of how far the event has come and how low-rent parts of it used to be… and now they’re apparently going back to that well.
Still very excited. I’m sure Fallout and the originals will be great.
IPs are always in the eye of the beholder. I’ve been to 12 HHNs and there has never been an IP lineup where I’ve been excited about more than 1 IP since 2007.
There are plenty of IPs that I think are cool and would work as a house, but that doesn’t mean I’m excited about them. But that also doesn’t mean others aren’t.
I was never a Weeknd fan. Still am not. Thought his house was cool though and people still rave about it.
All that to say, I would argue this is one of the stronger IP lineups in recent memory:
You mentioned Fallout. Which has a large fandom.
FNAF has a huge following.
Terrifier’s following has been growing with every movie to the tune of a $90 million box office for Terrifier 3 (which for context was more than Trap, The Substance, Speak No Evil, Heretic, Night Swim, The First Omen, Strangers Chapter 1, Imaginary, Immacualte).
Poltergeist is a classic and the 2018 house was mostly well received.
And I don’t like wrestling, but Wrestlemania just had 124,693 in person attendees over two nights and 1.3 billion live minutes of viewership when both nights are combined. So needless to say it still has a huge following.
I’m not EXCITED, by any of the IPs, but they all bring something unique and a large fan base. So I think it’s a very strong lineup.
