No you don't. There's no guarantee that Poltergeist will return to Orlando's event. Just because Hollywood has an IP repeat, doesn't mean Orlando will too.

Also the magnifying glass ghost doesn't even hint to Poltergeist in the tiniest way.

I said this in the Hollywood thread but I’ll say here as Poltergeist got brought up. I’ll love if we get Poltergeist, it is in my top 3 houses of all time. Sadly, I don’t see Orlando getting it. It does seem to fit the ghost in the magnify glass well and maybe that does mean Poltergeist. It’s on both maps so it’s an IP and shared according the HNN spec map but it’s HNN spec map and while HNN is pretty accurate at the end of the day it’s a spec map. It will be interesting to see if it’s on the vol. 2 HNN spec. Map.

There are a handful of ghost IP rumors floating around. HNN was hedging their bets with A ghost house. Not a specific ghost house.

I'm gonna stick with my bet that the ghost magnifying glass is an original and not an IP:

either

a) Graveyard Games 2 (magnifying glass = searching for /seeking ghosts, as the plot for the first GG was essentially hide and SEEK with ghosts)

or

b) another Boris Shuster house (magnifying glass = detective, Boris Shuster = detective, maybe a house inspired by the B&W detective horror comics Tribute Store theme/B&W house rumors we had before)

The problem is the magnifying glass was also on Hollywood’s map. So unless Hollywood also does Graveyard Games or Boris Shuster, I think it’s planned to be an IP.

Seems like they are getting scarecrow again. Which is odd to me as scarecrow will also be in LV. I’ll love if they get graveyard games tho as that’s also in my top 3 houses of all time. While I wish the ghost on the spec map could mean GG I know it means an IP. As it’s on both maps and Legacy said it’s an IP above.

Fair enough, I was just going based on the fact that was a shared logo on the spec maps.

This makes a ton of sense that they were hedging and didn't have a specific IP in mind. I don't know why I never considered they were just saying generally a ghost house and slasher house to encapsulate the multiple things they're hearing. So does that mean the Friday the 13th rumors actually has some legs?

F13 was a very early rumor (that I'm pretty sure I actually did my first clue for? If I didn't, I had the American Dad episode keyed up for it. I don't remember).
