This is the same event that gave us an ORIGINAL sequel house to THE THING in 2007 set in a military bunker in FL.... "Outpost 3113"

I wasn't going to the event back then, but did the setting of Florida actually factor into the house in any way? It may have been a clever nod, but from what I can see, it seems that house took place entirely inside a bunker. What @HHN Maddux was suggesting was a full-on apocalyptic version of Universal Studios Florida, which I don't think they would do for an IP house.

B&T poked fun at Universal's "movie balls" formally in the Lagoon & the apartments built behind the park, just to name a few.

I don't think this is really comparable, since Bill & Ted was a meta comedy show that frequently poked fun at the resort as a whole. From what I can tell, that tone hasn't ever really been used in other aspects of the event.

The Florida setting didn’t play into house directly, but the original sequel aspect absolutely mattered.

And they did a wholly original take on an IP for Chucky a couple of years ago, so it’s not like the concept is foreign or outdated idea.

To be clear, if we do get Fallout as a house, I do imagine it will likely be an original take on the IP. They could easily have us enter a vault that has never been explored in the franchise before, and pull whatever horror elements from the series that they want to include. I'm just not expecting any explicit meta elements that tie the story into Florida or UOR.

Well... MG & HHN have already crossed paths twice.

- Zombiegeddon house was affected by the backstory of the Zombie Gras SZ in 2010. The SZ did feature a former parade float too.

- Slaughter Cinema 2 had a MG themed segment

So it wouldn't be too much for a straight up MG themed house. Hell, they've already tapped the Voodoo aspect as well. A MG house is something I've wanted to see for years (hey, now they could cover New Orleans in snow for a sequel too!)

As far as Fallout - I'd love for them to incorporate a vault somehow, but I'd be a tad bummed to have the entire house take place in a vault. I'd love to see them recreate that feeling of "exiting the vault".

I doubt that's going to stop them from doing the house. Something most people already forgot about... If it happened in Florida I would understand but that's like saying they should've canceled Mardi Gras at USF because of that.

I’m really excited to find out what kind of originals are coming this year. I feel like the past few years they’ve been going bigger with originals both in duration and in set size, so the originals are really what’s piquing my interest here.

I’ve never consumed any media relating to Fallout, but the premise of the story could be a neat house. Looking forward to seeing what kind of things are pulled off this year.

the fallout TV show is really really great. it's really good. you should watch it. I really enjoyed it. it's not that long. it's funny sometimes but also has great action scenes. I love the world in it ( I know of the games but I don't know too much)

Speaking of Fallout, I'd say I'd be pretty excited if this one happens. Plenty of options for settings, characters and the like. And merch could be very strong, let alone specialty drinks as Nuka Cola is right there.

Agree. Each HHN I always wear some Fallout gear. A shirt, or my favorite Nuka Cola cap. All to highlight my Fallout tattoo. I’ll go nuts with merc if this happens.

Personally, I'm hoping they go the IP-original route if we get Fallout. Send us into the Orlando Wasteland, or heck, get meta with it and have us explore the Universal Wasteland, now infested by mutants, ghouls, Deathclaws and raiders.

I would like that too but if the license comes from the Amazon related show I think they will want them to follow it because it’s still relevant and would want to promote second season. If it comes direct from Bethesda or whoever is handling the game licensing then I think we can get more freedom since there are so many and the last game came out a while ago.

I’m gonna B all over that merch though either way.
