I saw a mention on threads that the refillable cups this year, will in fact...not blink? Can anyone confirm if this is true? :o

Confirmed. I figured this would be the case when the Mardi Gras ones didn't and were a new style.

A few observations:

The tribute store team has done a whole lot with very little.

This feels more like what The Museum: Deadly Exhibits should have been in both tone and content.

Can we just keep a beautified store in this space and ditch that ugly arcade going forward?

I'm impressed with what they've done with that small space.

Their merchandise display team excels and does a heck of a job. Even with a rough theme last year, the tribute store was solid. Shame we didn't get a summer tribute store this past year.

I do hope they are compelled to make this musuem-theme a year round experience with rotating "exhibits" based on IP, monsters, etc. I think arcades inside theme parks are silly

Hat's off to the visual merchandise team once again, just like great haunted house designers, they make the most out of the space they get. I can imagine this year was a bit of a challenge both in space and also incorporating Sahara Traders, but it looks really good!

As others have said, the theme really does look and feel like what Muesum: Deadly Exhibits should've been. And I do love the touch of the color pallet matching the overall look of this year's event, it's those little things which really bring it all together and really hammer home this year is pretty cohesive with its overall theme. And I certainly welcome that considering how half-baked/disjointed last year was.

And in another bit of good news, seems like someone took a whack at the AI TV art that was at the pos booth for the Firefly Funhouse booth, and we got a much better looking tv now!
