I had a thought, a while back Jack was speculated for the tribute store, could that have been crossed wires for the horror unleashed Jack merch?

My friend form work and I were talking at work about other things they could have open. He bought up having the horror make up show theater open but not run the show but instead just put on the UCM and just leaving them running. Maybe sell popcorn in the lobby area.

This would be a nice option for an AC break, especially early in the season when it remains hot well into the evening. In the past Disney has done something similar with the Philharmagic theater playing "Legend of Sleepy Hollow" on loop during their Halloween party.

It robbed us of the greatest restaurant to ever exist too. Ugh, hate Minions.

Minion Cafe > Monsters Cafe (as far as food goes), I'm sorry to say

minions might be a better restaurant with better food.
but I will dearly miss monsters cafe with all of my heart. I miss visiting my monster friends. I would literally visit them every year, that place was magical. the energy of the place, it was very special.
what happened to all those props?

BUT, ILL be really happy if that zone in front of minions returns.

I'm not trying to be negative here, because I'm very excited about the zones as well - but maybe we should all pump the brakes a bit on "they listened to us and they're focusing on the streets again!"

Because.. well.. there's barely even any props out yet lol
(except for Crooked Lane, that looks amazing, don't mind me)

While I do agree with this, the timing is pretty funny with the various platforms arriving for Origins of Horror which confirm the zone is expanding back into Plaza of the Stars.

I’m with you. Of all the closings in recent years it’s the cafe I miss the most. The theming was incredible and you’re right it was magical. The vibe in there during HHN was really cool. In part it harkens back to a time when the event was smaller and Monster Cafe was, in a way, symbolic of this. Lots of great memories with friends having a bite to eat and meeting other like minded fans in the cafe. Minions may have better food, but it was never about that! I get them needing to move on, but man was it awesome.
