I wonder why Stranger Things isn’t in 22. Isn’t that queue and space the largest?

Nope, 22 is actually one of the smallest soundstages in every way, it's shorter than the others, too. There are several factors on what decides where a house goes, but ultimately, they look at what they need to make the house they want and put it in the suitable location. Clearly what they wanted can fit in 24 along with Dueling Dragons. Another thing to keep in mind is they're mainly focused on the Venca scenes, so they don't need a soundstage to itself to fit it all in. It's not like they're trying to cram multiple seasons into one house like 2019.

I don't know if there was an agreement made recently where Marketing relented to in-park icons as long as they weren't featured in the marketing or what, but I'm happy it happened.

I fully agree! It really feels like Marketing and A&D have been able to reach this happy medium where both are able to get what they want, and ultimately that is the best thing of us fans! For what I think is the second year for the newer heads behind the event, they're making some fun as heck choices here and I'm all for it!

So with that, spec finally comes to a close this year. It's been quite a ride thanks to Universal showing everyone they can play a game too, but all in all I think we have a very fun season to look forward to!

This 100%. So much fun piecing together new lore, and even seeing how much of it connects with longtime past houses that most consider obscure (like Blood Bath and Jungle of Doom!).

Also, the revelation that Oddfellow lives is surprising. The inevitable reunion between him and Jack should be interesting.

HHN 40 will be a Captain America: Civil War situation where Jack and the Icons that side with him will battle Oddfellow and his allies.

I've imagined 40 as Fear and the classic Icons vs Pumpkin Lord and this seemingly new generation of Icons.
