Oooh I really like your interpretation! Everyone was jumping on the Fox TV show interpretation and it was confusing me because I don't totally understand the rights situation with Fox & Disney. Any of those four you mentioned would make really cool houses....

If we’re talking Disney, or any television network, they own ABC, which was home to Twin Peaks.

You know...now that I think about it, there's always the outside chance they finally do a Treehouse of Terror overlay on The Simpsons. That is literally brought up every year. Sometimes several times a year.

It would take a lot to make it happen, but I’d love to see the envisioned ride layover. I’ll settle for a scarezone, though - don’t think a house would translate well.

After seeing a video of Knott's house The Depths, Jaws doesn't seem as far fetched to me. That puppet shark was cool, but with Universal's budget, it could be amazing. I don't think it will ever happen though.

The Depths was good but really emphasized how minimal underwater haunts are decorated. The beginning and ending were the best parts but the middle totally dragged and lost tons of momentum.

I agree. I just thought the shark was cool, but trying to translate a movie where it pretty much takes place almost entirely in water, it makes no sense to ever do it. Maybe a small section of a house dedicated to Universal classics or something. I think it could work then.

Who says Jaws has to take place under water? Best scene in the movie is Quint’s death. Seeing that play out in person would alone make the house worth it.

Dude I think a Jaws house would be dope! It may be a bit far-fetched, but I think it could work.

It would be kind of expensive though because most, if not all, of the scares would involve a puppet shark.

In theory, you could do an "original" take on the property, similar to JP Extinction back in 2002--human/shark hybrids?

Eh, they might as well just do a full-on original. If they do the Jaws IP, I would much rather they just stick with the source material. They would have to get really creative with it to pull it off, but who said a House can’t be short? Dead Waters was short, but it’s one of my all-time favorite houses.

I hear Jaws House, and I think of the wading pools from the Walking Dead house.

I think Jaws would work best in a compilation house. Have an iconic scene that translates to the house format best. But then again, they made Poltergeist work, so I would not be surprised if they did it. Would love to see it since Jaws is one of my favorite movies.

But Quints death was still technically on the water. They could just have the boat and the shark head swallowing him, but without the water does it have the same effect?

What about just a Spielberg Monster Mash up house? Jaws, Jurassic Park, War of the Worlds all mashed together in one maze? Crazy I know, but I can dream.
