At least Dead wasn't fill-in for a IP falling through (though Horror Hotel was great imo). Other Dead possibilities lol:
The Ungrateful Dead (stoner zombies)
Dead Man's Mausoleum (oingo boingo ftw)
Dead Dudes in the House (huge franchise lol)
or just plain Dead, Dead, Dead

This is not an accurate reflection of what happened, and you were not the brave lone voice as you describe. Many people here and elsewhere bemoaned the nickel and diming and feared this exact sort of thing happening.

I still remember how pissed everyone, myself included, was when Early Access suddenly had a price tag a few years back. (Still am, in fact!) We could wade back through those old threads and there wouldn’t be a single person who was happy about it, fine with it, or not concerned about the future. Anyone who thinks the collective opinion was “This is totally cool!” is definitely having a skewed memory moment.

If Early Entry keeps increasing and Express keeps increasing and the event becomes more and more impossible to do without both of them (when with a group of 8+ people), then yeah, I'm going to be priced out very soon as well. At this rate, I give it 5 more years tops before I am out. There needs to be fundamental growth in things to do before I pay more and the lines need to even out in a way that makes it possible to do them. As it is, I'm not going back to GA because the event can legit become miserable. And I love HHN, but I'm not paying for RIP for one single night, it's insane (unless Evil Dead OG+Scream+Resident Evil comes in the same year, then maybe you'll get me).

Murdy said today that Slash is going to be scoring something at the event this year. I can’t imagine it being KKFOS, so that leaves Ozzy (which seems unlikely) and Killceñera (even more unlikely).

What are we thinking? A scare zone maybe? A musical tribute to Ozzy?

I feel like I say this every year now, but all of Slash's soundtrack sound alike to me. I'd love to see a different musical artist headline, seems way overdue

Yeah, I mean the Updated Spec map has yet to be wrong, so very glad Art will be back here. I think the Terrifer Tram also allows him to still have fun moments and interact with people because many area's are larger spaces

Combined with Sam (Trick R Treat) coming to FF again, glad two of my favorite Horror Icons are coming back for this Halloween season

Anyone else find it interesting they are specifically using the term and logo “Art the Clown” rather than “Terrifier?” I understand that’s the characters’ name, but it’s interesting there isn’t a single reference to the film series’ title in the key art or description; I wonder if it’s some type of legal work-around where they only have to pay for the IP of the character?

I wonder if Killer Clowns and Art will be in the Scareone in front of the Tram as well, would allow Art to Roam and also give us a somewhat way to get a picture with the Killer Clowns here in Hollywood

Just got my frequent fear as I didn’t expect to be going out to Hollywood this year, only Orlando, and not sure what’s coming. Read through as many pages as I can obviously but it’s a lot.

What originals are we expecting? I saw the “dead” announcement and I’ve heard something about Killcineara but wasn’t sure if there was any others.

For Houses its the Dead house that was just announced and something most likely Latin American themed near the Plaza
