Hi everybody, long time lurker. I have some info (ranked from most to least confident) from observing updates of this year’s event. I haven’t seen most of these shared yet, apologies if I’ve missed it:
JURASSIC WORLD IS A FUNERAL HOME
- a few days ago, I saw this video by Thrill seeker network and saw workers moving a sign. This sign was in the same style as the Deville sign, but unfinished. It was two rows long and appears peaking over the gate in the beginning of this video:
- With the release of a new video from Mondo, we can see this second sign fully, displaying the words “funeral home” at 20:31:
So yeah, in addition to Murdy’s comments that Deville owned several businesses and had a legacy (
and
), maybe it’s a sequel to Horror Hotel!
Or maybe it isn’t. See, Murdy also said this:
https://x.com/john_murdy/status/2076360917554499977?s=46. Perhaps this isn’t in reference to Max Deville at all and is just using the same pun of devil for an original funeral home concept? Or perhaps even the beginning of Ozzy? I don’t know what the overall theme of this maze is or it’s specific title, but it’s facade is a funeral home.
H Lot is still likely Evil Dead Burn.
I know, shocker.
- Park Explorer Adventures posted that H LOT looks like it COULD be Horrors of Blumhouse 2 (which I don’t really understand or see at all). https://x.com/parkexplorers_/status/2079223092237545544?s=46
- The photo linked shows a very clear view of the facade, which looks a lot like the gazebo from Evil Dead Burn, as noted by user @yourfavuself in the replies. .
With no real evidence of this IP leaving, I think this is good evidence it’s on track to come this year.
One more thing,
the trees and lighting arrays outside of the speculated Killer Klowns from Outer Space are different from previous years.
Previously, the maze featured Christmas-tree style shrubbery just lining the tent. Now there are extensive tree units towering over the facade. I think this is still Killer Klowns, but just a fun thing I noticed! It seems like every year they’re able to make budgetary advancements to this maze (the automated Shorty in 22 vs the puppeteered character in 19, etc.).
Anyway, hope this isn’t just reiterating info and there is something useful here! Going to go over some videos and look at items that have appeared in the mummy adjacent holding area and try to catalogue them; might make a fun game of eye spy at the event!
