I will say for those who haven't gotten the chance to experience it, it's going to be a fun time! But there is a very understandable element of pessimism that can be shared.

If anything, I think there's actually a call to bring up something important with this. Not the house, but the structure.

It seems like with T-Pad and H-Lot North (and excluding UBE and SS15, because they're already prepped for this), we now have two venues that are going to be fully and properly air conditioned in the traditional sense. This might actually be something I'd argue is worth looking at, because this means half of the lineup is now lined with venues that are climate controlled.

If the ventilation continues for Mummy, UES, and H-Lot South--then that means nearly all of the lineup is now going to have venues that are properly climate controlled and able to do more technologically.

Considering KKFOS is coming, and that wasn't on the spec sheet at all, I wonder what else isn't true. Not sure if I'll be tarred and feathered but I'm hoping Evil Dead Burn is just a false flag. It Welcome to Derry would be alot better imho

Something about KKFOS (admittedly I’m a huge fan of the movie) is that the costumes are—STUNNING (and presumably expensive).

They definitely knew this one was coming back at least once after they initially did it in 2019. I would love to see it plussed up, though.

Nope. This will be the first time in the event’s history that a house will have been done thrice with no changes.

I understand repeats are expected but this is ridiculous.

Maybe they want to because there's alot of people like me who went for the first time last year, and they feel justified to bring it back? Not saying thats the definitive reason but food for thought

A) allocate more of that budget to other themed attractions, providing excellent value for guests
B) make even more money on an event that rakes in cash like a DNC fundraiser in Berkeley

If, as a treat, there are fans who haven't gotten to experience the haunted house (of which I do not doubt there are many) have a new-to-them experience that they really enjoy, fabulous.

Fair point, I'm seeing a lot of people aren't happy about it returning. Hopefully it'll be a low wait so I can do it like three times lol

Unless we get Fortnitemares, I might end up skipping this year, there otherwise doesn't seem like there'll be much to justify me going this year, especially if the Dreamworks Theater isn't getting anything.
