@Clive wasn't kidding. Things were different for the audition process, at least this year.

To give an update, it was held at Sheraton & they were behind schedule. Very behind. Those that had 12pm audition time didn't even get to check in until around 1240pm. It was already after 130pm by the time I had mine. One of my friends who had her audition later on that day said they were still severely delayed. What should've been like a 30-45min process max, ended up being over an hour+. It was crazy.

No group scare this year, just straight to solo scares & dying. The groups were much larger than normal too. My friend said they barely fit everyone during her time. It was definitely interesting this year compared to past years.

Hopefully this isn’t foreshadowing the event itself, but considering every event last year suffered from staffing issues ....I'm a little

So, does this raise or lower my chances of getting cast? I got a gold card and the interview went perfectly… I hope that they at least send me an email instead of just ghosting me if I’m not hired

Congrats. Honestly when it comes to casting, it just depends on their "need" of specific roles filled. I've gotten Murdy's golden Wonka ticket 4+ times, but never cast. So it's hard to say.

what's even worse is when you go to the event & see all the empty booholes that could've been filled by those who made the cut but weren't cast

Just keep an eye on your email the next 2-3 weeks. Hopefully you get the casting email to start your journey of making guests scream/cry!

Shucks. Won’t get my hopes up then. I am 6’2 though, hopefully that helps somewhat in a year full of characters like Art, Jason and all the Fallout guys. In a year with as many applicants as there were I’m gonna crash out if I see any empty booholes…

Being 6'2 is a major factor in your favor. If your record is clean, I'd be surprised if they didn't hire you.

Even if they don't cast you, just remember the key takeaway is that you were good enough to make the cut. It isn’t easy to get that golden ticket, so they liked what they saw from you.

Also, even if you don't get cast, audition for other events just for the experience. It's always fun from the other side regardless of the haunt.

@HydraGen2299 mused on the matter of the facade on 365--and they seemed to think that this might be them beginning the process of treating the facade more along the lines of being a painted facade. Something more similar to that of Creepshow or Holidayz, for instance; if the paint changes to a white.

We technically got a Mummy house (FINALLY) in the Mummy tent with 2022's Legends Collide..

Now we just need a dino themed house in the Jurassic tent.

I'd take that in the T-Pad tent... but the SS should go to a Phantom house (because Unmasked was terrible) since Nintendo sits on the sacred grounds of the former Phantom SS next door

Also bring back the Dead Exposure gorilla from last year just because.

They should’ve done a full Phantom book report house this year. We’re getting absolutely nothing for Phantom 100… I mean, even Creature 75 had a huge merch line. Phantom is one of the most influential horror films and films in general ever.

I hate to remind you all, but we got what we're going to get in terms of honoring Hunchback and Phantom for their 100th anniversaries. Universal Monsters Unmasked served that purpose.
