For a second I got excited and thought those angled pillars were something...then I zoomed out and realized what they were attached to.

This new photo from Bioreconstruct makes the ride trough "building" look like a ruin with broken pillars.

Did this bridge ever appear in any of the films other than Deathly Hallows? I don’t recall seeing it. Talk about artistic license.

Oh wait... is this supposed to be the same bridge that Harry flies under with the dragon in Goblet?

Will we be able to see that drop coming out of the building from "guest" areas, or will it be covered up by trees/other structures? That's certainly an ideal picture spot. Similar to Splash or EE.

We've already had it backwards once... If we have it backwards now, that just means my first assumption about the layout was actually correct.

You get launched up into the front of that castle structure. It’s not a drop.

Yup! And I’ll probably do an updated layout next time Bio does aerials to incorporate the new structures better.

I was so sad when they closed dragons but after reading this stuff I'm starting to get my hopes up I really hope this delivers.

I have to say, they really used the entire plot of DD well. I was worried the coaster would be small, and the unused areas would be more stores. The outline looks pretty incredible.

Looks like one of those old European Cathedrals being reconstructed after a WW II bombing raid.

That’s exactly the thought I had. Hopefully we’ll see some nice stained glass windows installed and it will look particularly pretty at night. Something new and original for the area.

With @Alicia 's original comments of "lots of rockwork" maybe the tall walls between Hogsmeade and the coaster will be covered. That would make a nice visual.
