Seussical Jr. is one of the most frequently produced shows in America (15th in 2025) and the Grinch is an omnipresent character during the holidays. In 2020, the Seuss estate made $33 million (the second most of any dead celebrity, behind Michael Jackson). And new book, “Sing the 50 States” - a recently discovered manuscript from the ACTUAL Theodor Geisel - is getting released this June. Seuss is still very relevant.

This has been answered better already, but yes.

Universal the theme park actually had to get approval from Universal Pictures for all of the Universal Monsters haunts, for example.
