Did someone say Osaka had a refurb like this? If so, I watched a video of the ride from this year and it seems like all of the dinos are the same, just a new coat of paint and smoother motion.

I would be so happy if we got new dinos, but I’m worried I’ll be let down.

I don't mind if some of the new dinos were static statues in the background of some of the areas, ( eating or sleeping ) just needs a little more.

Yeah, the Osaka refurbishment was exactly that. A refurbishment. I’m not expecting more than that, but would be pleasantly surprised if it’s plussed a bit.

I can see a situation where the dinos look more like the JW versions even if the ride is JP themed

I can't emphasize enough how much the ride needs this. If you haven't been on in a while, it isn't an understatement to say the current show quality is embarrassing. If the refurbishment brings everything back up to par (and hopefully includes some futureproofing so it never gets this bad again), I'll take that as a major win.

Also that queue video - would be great to get a new one!

I wouldn't mind creating a new version of the queue video, but the unique footage shot with Richard Attenborough as Hammond has to remain as part of it.

The Japanese version has a new queue video. Can be found on Twitter. The fans were quite upset about it.
