It's quite a bit more complicated than that. Assuming they wanted the narration to match, they would need the consent of the original voiceover artist. This also assumes there's enough training data from the voiceover artist to produce a sufficient match. At that point... why not just hire the voiceover artist to record the new lines?

If they were to change scenes to the point where new narration was required, I imagine they'd just hire a new voiceover artist and rerecord the whole thing.

You know they’re going to try to not have those in the future. Voiceover actors or agents are going to have to make sure to check every line in their new contracts.

Existing/legacy voiceover contracts obviously won't address generative AI, but my understanding is the standard practice (at least amongst large conglomerates like Universal) is to err on the side of caution and not attempt to steal someone's voice. These companies don't want their own film and television works to be used for training data without their authorization, and that goes both ways.

I know quite a few people in the V/O industry, and guardrails are absolutely going into new contracts.
