The general public is assuming it's a haunted house. Fan sites/groups are not a good sample size for this type of thing. The unplanned announcement/information drip is annoying, sure, but it's ultimately a non-issue.

Exciting how the track record of Jim Henson creature shop in Universal experiences has grown in the span of a year. Didn't know they did Chucky too.

Blumhouse would have had the asset Universal developed for the announcement, as they would have had to approve it in advance. I’m certain all of the announcements assets have been approved for a while now.

Blumhouse (ie - Jason) likely planned to announce it at the panel but didn’t tell Universal. Universal was able to just pull the already approved asset for their recovery.

Food predictions/what I would do if I had complete control and do whatever I wanted:

Freddy Fazbear’s Famous Pizza (basic slice of pepperoni pizza, maybe in a themed cardboard box. hopefully there’s some extra twist on this to separate it from every other pizza option on property)

Mr. Cupcake (a basic pink cupcake with edible detailing to transform it into Chica’s cupcake. eyes, an edible candle, etc.)

Circus Baby’s Vanilla Ice Cream (clearly the house will be movie based so probably not happening, but this would be hilariously morbid if you know the context)

Exotic Buttered Popcorn (literally just normal popcorn, maybe with some kind of purple seasoning to represent Michael Afton after he got Ennard inside of him dawg. possibly in a themed bucket resembling the one in sister location)

Given that we’re seemingly doing 100% movie theming, it’s not impossible we get some kind of breakfast item referencing Sparky’s Diner and the corresponding MatPat cameo? We’ll see what happens but I’m expecting heavy food and merchandising

I will be fascinated how they execute Five Nights if it is indeed a maze.

This might be a tall ask, but I would really, really love the first room in the house to just be the animatronics as literal animatronics moving and singing to the music. No jumpscares, no scareactors. Just the animatronics. I want to be transported back to the 80’s when Fazbear’s Pizzeria was at its prime before the Great Bite of ‘87. I want to smell the pizza. I want to hear the Romantics playing. I want to feel like I’m there in the restaurant’s heyday.

Then after that, we can transition to the good ‘ol HHN Hollywood short black hallway and then transition to the run-down and haunted pizzeria it is now. I’m sure this is how list of the fans would prefer the house to be.

This isn’t inside into, but…

What if the finale was the stage all lit up with the full “band” playing and dancing… except they’re all performers doing “robotic” movements before strategically lunging at guests?

There’s a way to do this without animatronics.
