It's a shame to lose such a totally solid punching bag. You could always count on a jab towards Supercharged landing with the crowd. @Mad Dog was one of the most consistent with those remarks haha!

I really feel Supercharged will likely be replaced with BTTF my only issue with this is it feels so silly to have a BTTF ride without a Delorean. The Delorean is THE time travel vehicle of the franchise. No other ride vehicle makes sense. Unless they make a whole new movie where the Delorean has been replaced with a...bus...it feels like such a waste.

It depends on how serious they are going to be about the redo. If it's a cheap overlay, yeah, "doc has added flux capacitors to the trams" will kinda suck. But, with the size of that building, they should be able to guy it and put in a different ride system.

The biggest "problem" there is the two ride systems I could see best fitting BttF, scoop and coaster with scenes, are adjacent to the Supercharged building. Not sure if they'd want two of the same system in the same park.

I think Universal will theme the Party Buses to be a bit more outwardly Deloreon-y, and call it a day. They clearly don't really care to seriously invest in this park right now, and the Supercharged ride system is still pretty young. I'm sure they just want a ride that they can make incredibly fast, will get people in line compared to SC, and that won't be a total laughing stock.

I believe the insinuation is that the Orlando coaster will cannibalize USH's - which I don't believe should be any concern for several reasons.

1. Different layouts. Unique coaster credits for those junkies.
2. It'll have about a year headstart. Plenty of time to milk the newness before it becomes just another cog in the line-up.
3. It's USH first and ONLY outdoor coaster. As long as it's received well, it'll have long-lasting appeal.

The majority of USH guests visit Orlando once every few years, if that. It's like 70% LA residents, 30% tourists (and half of those are from overseas.) They're completely different markets. Not everyone can just fly to the other side of the country to go on one ride, not to mention everything you list here. I'm not worried about one overshadowing the other- the hillside element at USH alone is enough to distinguish them.

Sorry, just want to point out that this attendance mix is false. That kind of split isn't uncommon for the special events like Horror Nights, but for the park at large, the majority of guests are tourists (and yes, many are from overseas).

Right and that's my issue. I don't want it to a cheap overlay because it's such a waste of a great IP. But then again, all Supercharged was was also a cheap overlay and a waste of the IP. Now they're finally giving F&F a ride system that kind of franchise always deserved. The one thing F&F and BTTF have in common is that both IPS deserved rides with ride vehicles that are fast cars. They've since course corrected finally to give F&F a fast car ride vehicle...but if they go back and give BTTF a ride with a slow moving bus I'm afraid they're just going to run into the same exact issue they had with Supercharged.

I sincerely hope they gut the thing and treat it as a warehouse with a blank slate, with a unique ride system that will suit whatever experience and IP they want to create.

If this is a reskin… I will feel sad. Very sad.
