Sure. Godzilla goes to wherever he wants to. No one's stopping him. Heck, you can have Godzilla in Thailand, looking for a good time. Or, even in Iceland, bathing in a hot spring. Or, in a Six Flags park, looking for some live entertainment to eat (note: he'd starve).

If they went with Godzilla reusing the ride system would be a waste. What I imagine is a ride where we’re evacuating a city and weaving in and out of buildings. We never truly see his full body, only bits and pieces. Some of it is screens for wider or further away shots and another good amount is practical. A foot, a hand, the side of his head, etc.

Scooby Doo - Mystery Inc is on a road trip, and they ended up in San Francisco, and on the corner is a Haunted House inspired by the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose. Gut the building and put in a family dark ride. Everything else can stay the same.

This is a good idea...esp with the new series coming up (albeit Netflix not Universal BUT we know Universal does have a working relationship with Netflix for HHN at least) but even without the new series, the original IP as it is is pretty much evergreen with the characters already present in the park as it is.

I think I hit a hard wall with this stuff, in that I just cannot find any excitement or enthusiasm for a rethemed Party Bus screen simulator. It is the absolute last offering the park needs right now.

I mean we have no clue what’s taking its place. Will it be a straight reskin? Maybe. Will they use the building and change the ride set up? Maybe. Will they knock is down completely and start all over? Maybe.

Yeah not sure what people want with a new jaws ride. There is 0 chance it comes back the same as it just isn’t feasible or worth it. Jaws isn’t coming back with a ride like that so it shouldn’t come back at all.

I don't think Disney and Universal want to build water based dark rides anymore. I'm going to pay attention to Dollywood's addition to see how reliable it is.

Maintenance. DCA likely got rid of avatar due to it, the MK villains dark ride will be a “boat”, and I don’t think the new DU ride is a boat ride.

I think it's just a rumor at this point. The rumor is that they don't want to do the boat ride and want to pivot to Zootopia instead...allegedly.

As much as everyone would hate it, I could see Jaws working for this plot if they were able to adjust things just a bit. A 360 screen to simulate open water could possibly work if they do a good job of blending the bottom of the screens, and use the motion base to effectively simulate floating. (The bus would have to be "converted" to a boat)

The biggest issue I would foresee is where they could place any physical set pieces/animatronics.

The original gang fits the San Francisco vibe quite well. Park the Mystery Machine out front for a meet & greet spot, it would blend in pretty seamlessly.

Then update the menu at Richter's with the Shaggy Burger and Scooby Snacks.

I think that rumor is largely false. Permits have already gone up for the Avatar land. If Zootopia comes to the parks its likely to be in either Simba for DCA or the third post LK land for DAW.

If they just reuse the ride system for a quick fix, Universal haven't learned anything imo.

Fully admitting I'm ignorant on a lot of things that are taken into account with a decision like this but how much extra capacity do they really need at Studios in the short term?

Gut the building and put a next gen spider-man in there with us riding in a floaty Delorean.

What would be even cooler is if they managed to have different "sets" in the special effects tour on either side of the show building. So instead of everything being contained to one Jaws set/scene...you could have on the left, the lights go up and it's a Twister(s) set/scene, then once that completes, the lights go up on the right and it's a Jaws set/scene, further up on the left, a BTTF set/ sequence, so on and so forth. I guess...really the indoor tram tour as we've all kind of pitched before haha but sort of a blend between the tram tour and the SFX show...and then obviously throwbacks to the OG rides Twister, Jaws, BTTF etc.
