As someone who was there, neither. It was on the very 4th of July of 2019.

Yup. I remember that day very well. Waited around all afternoon for softs and had to dip out for July 4th plans. Literally one hour after decided to call it and leave, I looked on my phone and saw softs happened. To say that I was annoyed was an understatement.

But it worked out. I literally went the next day, waited over an hour and got to ride lol

They were testing it a lot last night but I will still guess its not opening until Mild July....at the earliest

I've heard that Intamin reps have been at the park the last few days. That signals to me that the park wants all cars drifting the way they are supposed to at all times. Also, mechanically making sure everything is structurally 100 percent ready to go.

Universal isn't going to put up with extended down time like a SF park would. This ride needs to have significant uptime.

Other than that, it could soft open any day. lol
