Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift coaster (USH) - Opening 2026

I have locked in for my annual trip out to Hollywood for HHN the weekend of September 4-6, and will come to the park during the daytime on Saturday, September 5. I know that opening dates can be pushed back etc., but it seems like from reading the last few pages of posts, it is looking very good for this to indeed open this summer / be ready to ride when I am out west again.

Agreed. Obviously anything can happen, but as of now, the odds of F&F opening during your trip are very good.

Spotted the ride testing with an interesting variation: the front car was the zebra stripes testing variant while the rest were the final ride cars.

My father's, brother's, nephew's, cousin's former roommate said they're aiming for a July 17th opening for this one. I have absolutely no idea if that is accurate in any way or if that date has been mentioned anywhere previously but throwing that out there in the off-chance they're right. Would love to hear more from Universal about this one soon so folks can start planning their summers. I'd also love for that info to be wrong and for it to be opened sooner, given that folks seem to be riding it already.

Whether it’s that date or earlier, I’m just happy we’re finally nearing the end of this project. I remember hearing the awful news early 2024 that this wouldn’t open until 2026 and now here we are!

Fun fact: this project took longer to build and open than Harry Potter! Potter began construction September 2013 and soft-opened February 2016, making it only 2 1/2 years!

AA and SES closed right before SNW opened in Jan 2023 and now three and a half years later, we’re still waiting on word on softs.

Geez, it took a full year longer to build a roller coaster than the entire Wizarding World!

Once again, given the logistics of the hillside, etc, this is not your regular coaster.
