Actually a bit puzzling that these positions weren't filled internally, though they may be legally obligated to post the jobs publicly.

(Also, careful, @Mr_Pendington, you unintentionally shared a bit of personal information about yourself with the "alumni" bit.)

I have been hearing they are hiring internally, but it does sound limited.

Aren’t the sound walls really to help the studio? So they don’t have screaming coaster sounds in background of shots?

Possible they started testing and realized that gap was causing sound issues on set?

I could be wrong but I think this was planned from the go

Because this was something we were talking about needing to be finished along with the Scream shields



This is why a week or two I asked...why the scream shields and this were not built back months ago when things finished. Like I don't think I know more them them and sure they have a reason but thats why I was asking why they didn't do all this at the same time.

I'd imagine access to the construction site is the main reason these walls have been delayed until now. At the moment, the site is easily accessed from the nearby access road. Once those walls go up, access will only be from above, which will be a lot more difficult.

While I can understand the necessity of them, it is a pity we'll lose a big chunk of that view from the escalator plaza (one level down).

This. Constructing a state-of-the-art roller coaster on a giant hill is a massive logistical endeavor. Sometimes "a" can't happen before "b," which can't happen before "c."

It'd be really funny if that can happen if it's taking a bit for the trains to re-enter the station. Makes me hope it's actually a thing and not a fluke.

I get it, this sucks….but when the alternative is no coaster at all, I can deal with it. Remember this ride was never even supposed to happen with all of the sound restrictions going against it.

I just hope they don't use the same low quality image of trees that they used on the lower sound wall.
