Shifting conversation back to Hollywood Drift, what are the chances that 'Speakerbox' (the song they used for the new commercial) is one of the songs used for the on-ride soundtrack? I actually think it fits the ride pretty well!

Considering the music in the first MKBC preview ended up being used in the ride itself, doesn't seem out of the question. I know it was already open in Japan by then, but I do think this is a legit marketing tactic for those not in the know, like a tease. So I could see it being the same thing here and working to full effect for an all new ride.

I do hope that since its coming in Summer now that F&F meet and greet characters come to Mega Movie summer event

Also won't happen but a Transformer meet and greet based on a F&F car would also be dope

Meh. Aside from retaining the sign, I think the ride experience of the one we got will be far superior.

The only thing I like from that model that would have been cool in the final design is that it looks like they were going to have the track go past that little plaza area in the park (in front of the ride entrance). Would have added a nice kinetic energy inside the park there but not a huge deal losing that aspect.

Don't get me wrong, I am excited to go on the coaster, but as others have noted, the aesthetics on this ride are REALLY rough right now. I understand this is under construction, but I really hope they put murals or backgrounds on those walls, even if it is as simple as a black cityscape cutout. I am worried that they are simply going to leave them blank on the interior.

Don't get me wrong, I am excited to go on the coaster, but as others have noted, the aesthetics on this ride are REALLY rough right now. On the first teaser that the park dropped back in June of 2025, the animation showed gang graffiti on the backside of the sound wall. I hope Tristan has more tricks up his sleeve for this ride..

Here is little update from this week’s visit!

-At the station, big LED par lights have been added on top, functioning as spotlights to the coaster vehicle(It might do cool color changes once the train starts to leave)

-12 ellipsoidal lights(very expensive) have been installed on facing graffiti facade. (With this money, they could have easily bought glasses for the skybridge queue line… instead of fences)

-Bumped into a team member again and I asked about those ugly fences. Their reply was rather interesting. For the majority of queneline, they’re planning to remove those (gray) walls in front of the fences once the construction is done(probably it was temporally thing for security and safety of workers). So people in wait line can see the outside view(those gray light walls in front of the fences will be gone. Fences will remain yet people will still be able to see the view through those fences). If what they said turns out to be true, this is very good news!

Oh also, on top of the expansion plot they dig next to mummy; they did heavy landscaping. Looks very green and I really hope they do the same stuff to f&f coaster section.

Hopefully the fence part is true. You have one of the best views out of any theme park on the planet and you block it with a solid fence?!

Wait, you mean to tell me that we shouldn't be jumping to conclusions and creating final judgements on the design of a ride that hasn't opened yet? But that's not how the internet works!
