Also, where can you see those lights on the second launch? Never noticed that detail.

They're simply on the panel box right next to the launch track (there's one panel on every launch and on the brake runs).

I also noticed that the sign for the gift shop has literally been ripped off the wall. I'm guessing they're gonna give it a good sign instead of cheating out.

I don't wanna sound impatient, but it is slightly surprising that we're at the point where the gift shop is open and the ride is 95% finished and yet we don't have any kind of opening timeline. My money is on March.

Three things that would take a few weeks, I think are

1) The Scream Shields
2) Adding themeing or at the very least making it look nicer
3) Removing all construction equipment from the area

So yes in theory it could open sooner then May/summer

Does seem like the mass install of the glass panels for the scream shields is finally gonna kick in the next two weeks--but yeah no, we still got a bit of ways until the ride opens.

I'd say check back around Super Bowl for opening window.

Yep. I would not expect a March or April opening. May... be.

I'd shut out March altogether for those at home. Maybe April for softs, but...we still have a ways to go landscaping wise, technologically wise.

There’s one more small Soundwall to be installed after glass is done. The crane for the glass is currently sitting where it will be installed

This. I've been noticing very few of the tests that have been caught on video have had spinning cars. And that's the main part they have to figure out.

When we see consistent testing of spinning cars, then I'd (hope) we'd be getting closer. Until then, I'm not holding my breath too much.

I'm hoping this is fully open in time for my birthday in early June. I haven't been to USH in over two years and am ready to pull the trigger on an extended weekend as soon as an opening date is announced.

I do wonder if they will all spin the same or not.

Depending on where you sit you get different G-forces on a normal coaster, and I’ve been thinking each car could be tuned slightly different to take advantage of that at certain points of the track; sometimes they’ll synchronize and other times they’ll differ slightly to get the best feel over particular elements. It would give each car a different feeling on top of its unique appearance.
