FFN would be crazy but it'd be no skin off my back regardless. Once again, crazy that I can rest easy knowing that'll be long after my surgery next week. Maybe I should visit the park one last time before then though and see this in person progress for myself.

Sounds like the ride vehicle without the camouflage will be shown off soon. Tarp-covered versions of the ride vehicles without the zebra coating were visible two days ago.

Also, just for our records, I actually did see a video of this sighting on a whim on FB some time ago. I'm surprised it never got posted here so here it is.

I don't think we're getting dates until they're completely done with the scream shields and get the drifting going reliably.

Yeah, all the signs of progress we're seeing are totally independent from what we're actually waiting for: Reliable drifting.

I do think the drifting being tested as prevalent as it is today is a good sign of progress, but it needs to be more consistent and to the point.

Don’t forget that we are still missing the second sound wall.

It does seem that what we saw today is either the final programming or close to the final programming

The drift videos I’ve seen from today look good. Except one clip where it seemed the back car got stuck.

Is there a reason they don't just knock the sound wall and shields out?

The issues don't see to come from those, so what would be the reason not to get those done now and the ride could just open when testing is done

Your questions boil down to, "Why don't they just open the thing faster?"

The real world is more complicated.

No

I'm trying to understand why would you not just finish up the other things outside of testing and then just test this with everything done.
Is the construction crew working on something else? Because at times they were at super sonic speed like one day we woke up and a huge amount of scream shields went up and now it's on Random day a few more have been added

If it were that simple, they would do it. They want this thing open as soon as possible. The incentives are aligned here, guys. There are complications and logistical concerns that are keeping them from wrapping this up as quickly as you all want them to.
