They switched to even and odd sorting which defacto ends the single rider problem because you don’t end up with one spot remaining.

Ah gotcha. Gotta say, getting your standard throughput efficient enough to make your single riders line functionally obsolete is probably the best possible reason to cut something like this!

Most times that I have been to DAK recently, Everest hasn't been more than a 30 minute wait anyways. And if that's how it looks while nearby thrill ride Dinosaur is closed, then I'm willing to take them at their word that single riders is essentially pointless looking forward.
