Some tourists who are staying at the hotels posted on FB that present Epic tickets are available for purchase at the hotel ticket desk, but are not available online. Guessing they haven't sold up to their max capacity yet.

Flying last minute from Oregon to go to Epic this weekend to meet some Florida friends. Tried to get tickets for Sunday but it was sold out. Is the capacity really limited still? We ended up getting a two day pass because we couldn’t risk not going.

They've confused the ticket buying system more than a tad too much.

My understanding is people can walk up and buy tickets day of right now.

Yep - saw this happen on insta. Epic has kiosks out front where you can buy tickets day-of.

Even though tickets are technically non-refundable, in addition to switching your tickets to a different day, you may be able to get a full refund for full tickets in many circumstances. I’ve seen a few folks get refunds for upcoming Epic tickets, in case you find you no longer need it. They will ask the reason though, as I’m sure they’re tracking negative reactions in case that’s why.

Last week I posted that Theme Park Insider Robert Niles said he heard the capacity was around 45,000. Looks like he was right.....and looking at Thrill Data, they've located 5 or 6 buckets of tickets for each day, but there's still 4 or 5 ticket types remaining that they don't have numbers for. So, I'd guess there's, at the least, more than 20,000 in the park the past couple days.

When will 2026 tickets be available? And when will a person be able to buy a ticket for 2 days at Epic and 1 day at USF/IOA (for less than the price of three single-day tickets)?

I'm asking rhetorically, because I know nobody here knows. But I am again approaching the window where my group wants to start booking things for a January trip... and we can't yet.

We already delayed from November to January for the same reason, and it's frustrating.

Same here. Plan is to go first week of February 2026, but we want 5-day P2P use as we want tickets.

I asked on X and of course, I got the usual "stayed tuned to this account!". Um, no. Just tell me so I can book or make other vacation plans. The excitement is starting to wane for this trip.

Interesting ticketing analysis here:
blogmickey.com

Universal Opens the Floodgates for Ticket "Capacity" at Epic Universe Theme Park

Universal Orlando Resort has made a huge change to the Epic Universe ticket capacity, but will it make a difference with crowds?
blogmickey.com blogmickey.com

I remain less than impressed with the entire situation.

As 'the saga of 'confusing ability to purchase tickets' continues. It's a theme park soap opera. ....I could see that 'forcing guests into the other parks' strategy working for the first month or two of operation. But, after that, it will bite them in the ass unless they make ticket buying simpler and fairer.

Just so you know @belloq87 and @ilovetotravel1977 - I'm able to see 2026 packages now.

Now, they don't have the tickets you (we) all want, but i'd still recommend getting in there and getting deposits down on dates/resort/packages to get things started. As always, hollar if you need any help ;)

We're staying off-property, which probably explains why I can't see beyond 2025 for tickets (from Universal's site, anyway).

But I appreciate the heads-up!

Townhouses/condos are just too cost-effective with a large-ish group! Everyone gets their own space, and for less per person than staying at either Uni/WDW.

I'm the outcast of our group, who would rather pay more to stay on property, even if it's just at a value. I completely understand the cost savings of an Air BnB or similar, but man, Universal's value resorts are such good value if you can get an APH rate. I got our Stella Nova 5/3 - 5/10 stay for $103/night!

We always stay onsite as well. We don't rent a car either. I like just hopping on a bus and not having to worry about driving.
