I understand wanting a physical menu, but online/QR makes so much more sense. Much easier to remove things as necessary than having to communicate to servers to 86 menu items. There is nothing worse IMO than perusing a menu, finding exactly what you want to order on it, then being told "I'm sorry, they ran out of that".

I think ordering online/through the app is perfectly fine. The issue with UOR mobile order is that it's not entirely efficient or always working the way it should.

It doesn't really provide an estimated arrival time like WDW to limit overcrowding/sales per each time interval.

Outside of that, the only change I'd make is (and I'm surprised Epic didn't get these) are mobile order kiosks like at McDonald's and other places. For the guests that have questions or want to place an order in person, they are stuck looking around for a team member.

Despite how much I like the current system, I would LOVE to see ordering kiosks pop up at some of the QS locations.

My app is currently glitched when mobile ordering (doesn't let me get pass the pay now option) so I'm stuck asking for a TM. An easy to use kiosk sounds like a reasonable compromise.

Disney used to do this at some locations, but I also think displaying some of the food options through a physical model will also help people determine what is sold here.

Epic is a hard for us older folks that don't really eat much. So many choices. Full after 3 "snacks". Fortunately, we are good with 3-4 more park specific cocktails , and another ride on Stardust or Monsters. Gen X is just built different.

I think that's really what it comes down to though - until it affects the bottom line, there's really no reason for them to change it.

I'd wager a guess that the large majority of people enjoy plopping down at a table and scanning a code vs standing in a long line to order, then standing in another line for a table.

I realize my experience might not be the best example, but I certainly stood in a long line for a table at Cafe Sirene and then had to wait 20 minutes for my food to come out after scanning the table QR code even though I had already placed my order while waiting in line.

If others have been having the same issue, I get them not wanting forced mobile anymore.

It could also just be new park problems as I have not had this issue at Minions, Leaky Cauldron, or Fire Eater’s.

I don't mind the QR codes. I kind of like being able to sit down and scan to order and then just sit and wait off my feet for a bit. My problem with the QR codes/digital menus is that they never offer the customizations I want. Sometimes, it's a preference thing, but other times, it's something like my husband can't have dairy. Sometimes, there's a menu item he wants that would be totally fine for him minus the cheese, but for some reason the online ordering doesn't let you put "no cheese." And we don't want to have to select the option for a staff member to come talk to us about dietary needs just to have them take cheese off lol

Like Cafe Sirene... almost all their breakfasty stuff is heavy on the dairy, but I feel like there were some options that could just have one ingredient left off and still be good and then he could have it. But because they didn't have the option to do so on mobile (and again, we didn't want to go through the extra steps of having someone come consult about dietary stuff), he ended up just getting like a plain croissant or something while I got an actual meal. I feel like it could be easy to add some more customization stuff on there. And if they have since our visit, then disregard :)

This is my biggest thing too. I love the QR ordering system, but it's infuriating with the lack of customization options.

Which is strange - because some places have a lot of customization, while other places have none at all.
