Long shot but does anyone know what sauce they put on the bits and pieces (goth meatloaf on a stick) at das stakehaus? I want to recreate it at home

Went to Oak and Star today and got the four meat platter and everything was very very good. All the meat was juicy and fresh and that mango bread is dangerous to keep around in large portions.
Surprised more people aren’t talking about how superior it is compared to other theme park bbq restaurants.

Definitely will go back.

I have yet to have the lunch/dinner, but it was the best theme park breakfast I've had by a landslide.

My friend and I split the shrimp bucatini and the burger. Both were amazing!

Blue Dragon doesn’t get enough love on this forum. Our meal there was the best we had all trip. We ordered a bunch of things when we went and everything was great. I was really happy with the level of spice and authentic flavors that are rarely found in a theme park. I was expecting PF Chang’s , but this was way more high end, at least to us.

I went to Blue Dragon on opening day and found it just ok. The wontons were fine and the ramen broth was excellent, but the bok choy that came inside hadn’t been cleaned properly and had a bit of dirt for a crunchy surprise. Highlight was the Chengdu Dream, which was still just ok.

I'm glad you had a good experience, but I was left underwhelmed. The decor was nice and felt directly inspired by the iconic Yamashiro restaurant in Hollywood, but the service was lacking. This was no fault of the staff, who were openly apologetic but also visibly frazzled. My fiancee enjoyed her food more than I did, but I'm willing to concede that the dish I got maybe just wasn't for me. I didn't love that the restaurant was so hidden away, either - I might as well have not been in the park. I'd stop by the bar again, though.

Yeah, speaking only for myself: the food we had was pretty PF Changs-y. And the service was bad.

Our server was awesome, and the food quality was way better than PF Chang’s . I mean not even close.

It’s gone really downhill . At least the one down here in Boca. It’s been giving me TGI Fridays vibes

Now you’re just listing my favorite restaurants. Mention Chili’s next and we’ll have named the trifecta!

Inside you are two wolves.

I think it depends on what you order, I've had the peanut noodles, orange chicken, fried rice, pot stickers, dumplings, and cucumbers and they've all been fantastic. My whole party raved about the meal.

How do you feel about Applebees lol.

By the way … everything we ordered was spicy , as I love spicy food, and it did not disappoint. So if you’re ordering from the “mild” menu, it could be boring. I wouldn’t know.

We actually had a reservation at both Blue Dragon and Atlantic each day we were at Epic - ended up canceling both because we wanted to try more quick service.

Still wish we went to Atlantic though lol
